Any cards with pretty good rewards points/cashback?
Looking to replace my Maybank Barcelona card.
*
FCB VS is still a very good card giving 1% rebate on general retail transactions except e-wallets, utilities, Government. Most of other CC shall give you around 0.2%-0.4% only and to be reduced by end of this year (the card transaction fee will be reduced again on 1/1/2021, as proposed by Bank Negara).

Any Credit card that could replace MBB Barcelona since that have change the CB ?

I am looking for a pin credit card that could apply to all daliy life from booking agoda to dining to petrol everything mix and match

MBB Barcelona could pay for anything except for goverment bodies and get 2%CB
*
FCB VS will still be one of the best CC after other CC issuers cut the reward/benefits/rebate due to Payment Card Reform Framework (due on 1/1/2021).

If every credit card cit their benefit than yes. But 1% is really really low  doh.gif  doh.gif  if 2% but cut away may and august special still good

When interchange fee is 0 48%, not many credit card issuers can give you high rebate already unless a lot of cardholders are paying 15%-18% interest.

So will be more cc promos to encourage use cc for government transaction in other words. cool2.gif
*
Govt related transactions already reached 0.48% (credit cards) and 0% (debit cards) since a few years ago. Banks already stop giving rebate/reward to Government-related MCC and charities MCC (0% for both CC & DC).

Which petrol can use e wallet? Currently public quantum not giving any cashback for my Setel reload
*
Shell - TNG wallet, Boost, Bigpay MasterCard

Petron - Boost, Grabpay, Bigpay MasterCard, Maybank
QRPay/MAE (not using CC to top up)

Petronas - Use your CC / ShopeePay to buy Petronas Giftcard at Shopee; Use CC / PrestoPay / Grabpay / Boost to buy Petronas e-Voucher at Prestomall.

For Petronas, Petron and Shell located in Sarawak, you can use SarawakPay.

Petronas station operator can offer additional wallets if they want. Some of Petronas stations in Kuching accept Boost as well.

There is no 1 card perfectly cater for all you need. Your annual income is less than RM36000, you can't have credit cards from more than 2 issuers (including banks) as per Bank Negara's guideline.
Try the new Affin Duo, top up ewallets, then use ewallets for Groceries, Petrol (Shell accept TNG wallet, Boost).
Or try the bank which your monthly salary is credited, as it will be your first credit card, you need to build up financial profiles, more important than the benefits that you are looking for.

glad that you've asked this questions, i do face similar situation as well, cards that i owned:-

MBB AMEX PLAT
MBB FCB
MBB IKHWAN

HLB MACH replaced with WISE but didn't activate

CIMB CR

HSBC M Power Plat

PBB QUANTUM 2 Cards

SC JOP

AFFIN DUO

UOB ONE

and with only 1 Big Pay card, was wondering what would be the best way to manifest all the cash back,

seems like the only CB that I've got monthly is from MBB AMEX PLAT, MBB IKHWAN, MBB FCB, PBB QUANTUM VISA, MASTER.

will be great if senior can enlighten.
*
You can have Grabpay, Boost, TNG wallet, ShopeePay, Lazada Wallet or other ewallets as well. For example, I use Grabpay/Boost (I use SC JOP to top up RM100 and get RM10 Grabpay voucher / Boost credit, so effectively at least 9.1% savings) to pay Unifi (at e-pay.com.my) / groceries / utilities recently instead of M2 Amex (5%), so I under-used M2 Amex and PB Quantum Visa (SarawakPay and Razerpay may give >5% savings) in the past few months!

senior, for SC JOP, the RM10 Grab voucher is it fully redeemed?
*
Sept - fully redeemed on 5/9 if I am not wrong.
October - to be refreshed on 1/10, but don't top up in the first few minutes, must use "card saved" method, 3000 coupons available.

Average 400 to 500 per month from credit card cash back / rewards, means you spent more than 50k per month in credit card. Those high rebate (>5%) cards have max cap, and I don’t think the cards you listed can give you average 1% rebate/ rewards.
Maybe I don’t understand the life of rich people... Myself can’t and won’t handle so many cards for this return
*
Another few hundred RM reward/rebate/savings if you play with ewallets and shopping platforms (Lazada, Shopee etc).

I think for this purpose alone, AFFIN duo CC seems to be the better option with 3% CB and capped at RM80. However, the drawback is that there is no CB for transaction in physical store.

*
In most cases, you don't use CC to pay at physical stores now. You top up e-wallet then use e-wallet to pay, you already get the CC cashback.

Most of retail outlets are now accepting e-wallets eg Grabpay, Boost and TNG wallet.

FYI, I am using Lazada Wallet / TNG wallet to pay for Lazada transactions, ShopeePay to pay for Shopee transactions, SarawakPay/Boost/Grabpay to pay for supermarket, Guardian, Watson's, F&B, tuition, cukai pintu, electricity, water, petrol etc.
