Nope unless you are earning RM 36k and below per annum, you can only have two issuing banks' cards. This is as per BNM's regulation.

If you can shift your spending to weekends, just apply Maybank2Cards. Use the AmEx card for all your transactions. Enjoy 5% cash back.

Not fixed for banks. Some allow you to choose from their different dates, some have fixed statement date for all users.

Hi Ms.,

I applied thru M2U for Mastercard Ikhwan and Amex Ikhwan instead.

Will the Master Card Ikhwan have the same features as Maybank Islamic PETRONAS Ikhwan Visa Gold Card-i ?

If not then I should've have replaced the Mastercard with Visa then once I receive it cry.gif

Maybank2Cards also can collect TP to convert to EM.
On top of cash back if you spend on weekends.

Sorry, can I ask a noob question as well:

I have a professional course exam (kind of like ACCA) to take that should cost around RM 1k. What would be a credit card I could get a good cashback from for this? Likely they will charge me on a weekday, so I can't benefit from any weekend offers.

Does this qualify as a "retail transaction"? Was afraid education would fall under a different category. If not, any cashback credit card with around 5% cashback will be okay right?

Thanks again for your help. smile.gif
