QUOTE(busyman @ Feb 14 2017, 04:00 PM) that's not really a solution for me as other ppl cant contact me haha I rmb I lock to 3G only in my previous phone as 3G speed is stable& faster than H/H+ if i rmb correctly. Now im using redmi note 3 but dont have the option to lock to 3G only. 4G lte also can lock 3g, just choose wcdma only ( i lock my webe to 3g coz 4g so siput sedut ) But since u said ur 3g speed is very slow, why u wanna stick to 3g ? Anyone use Umobile broadband here? I am using umobile broadband 128 now, but it seems postpaid plan P98 is more worthy, come with more data and free video streaming.
I am thinking to switch from current broadband plan 128 to postpaid p98. Any idea whats the different between broadband plan and postpaid plan?

Now im using redmi note 3 but dont have the option to lock to 3G only. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, every single android phone has the capability to lock network to any kind that we want. Ie LTE only, LTE/HSDPA, or EDGE only. Just press *#*#4636#*#* on your telephone keypad. Below is the option that I got on my htc phone. This post has been edited by Mr Gray: Feb 15 2017, 06:40 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Yeah, it's a no brainer compared to broadband 128.

Still very smooth though. So no worries for now. Location: Taman desa, KL It depends if you surf or watch HD videos and also the time that you use. For me, normal surfing is still bearable.
