The AOTG support is really suck until the max.
Previously, I got inquiry them regarding the problem unable to watch AOTG.
Straight away mentioned it's follow my astro subscriptions.

My astro subscriptions include KBS World channels, how come in AOTG unable to watch? (Some-more need to purchase this channels from AOTG) shakehead.gif

If astro upgrade system then can improve the service, we can accept for this.
However, we don't see anything before and after upgrade system. Perhaps just the website and online portal only.

What about AOTG? doh.gif
And some-more it seems like each 3 months upgrade system..
If like that, this upgrade system never the end..

Well even their HD sucks,its not up to expectations! SD is close to VCD! still stuck with MPEG2! Their box is outdated,it has no features! Now many STB boxes have many extra features like sound settings built in,auto audio output settings,bluetooth and many more.Unfortunately astro STB has nothing up to date! vmad.gif

Any of you ever got disconnected before? I recently got dc, somehow my autopay not working, Astro so quick to disconnect..

I feel the charge RM20 is too high and its very quick! Already I pay rm15+.++ per month, twice I got charge because my autopay (Bank Islam) and CIMB didnt deduct.. problem is not about my autopay, but this fucking expensive reconnection fee ( 12% of monthly subscription)

Their wecare@astro.com email is shit and a joke! Fuck Astro as if they care!

astro is the only company which charges a customer a penalty if he wants to continue its services! yawn.gif You may take it up with SKMM

Yes. Their HD really not on par.. Quality I got doubt..
Even I download from online better quality than astro HD doh.gif

SD channels don't needs to mention. Even more sucks big time..

I complaint to their email (wecare@astro.com.my) and after couldnt send feedback their website form. They replied saying they will investigate and reply after 2 working days..

If no response, then I complaint to consumer association. SKMM handles this sort of complaint?

Its pisses me off, they make so much money already but not considerate at all! They can cut all they want, just dont fucking charge for reconnection fee! Fuck Astro! Fuck fuck fuck fuck Astro!

Pay-television provider, Astro All Asia Network plc, will meet Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on Thursday to discuss complaints pertaining to its services, says MCMC chairman Datuk Dr Halim Shafie.

Among the complaints the MCMC has noted are the RM10 late payment fee, disconnection upon a months delayed payment, reconnection and technical support fees, disrupted services during bad weather, billing disputes, lack of package choices and programme content.

We will have a meeting on Thursday, he told reporters after the meeting between Minister of Energy, Water and Communications, Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor, and the ministry staff here today.

Recently, the ministry barred Astro from adding more channels until it improved its services following numerous complaints.

Astro has also been given a December deadline to comply with the Multimedia Communications Act 1998.

Astros licence was issued in 1997 under two Acts the Telecoms Act and Broadcasting Act which were abolished and replaced by the Multimdedia Communications Act.

Recently, Shaziman has been reported as saying the government hoped Astro would migrate to the Act by year-end.

He also assured Astro that it would not lose its exclusive right to be the sole operator of direct-to-home broadcasting via satellite until 2017 once its migrated to the Act.

He said in 1999, Astro has indicated it was willing to migrate to the 1998 legislation, but it had yet to do so.

Once Astro migrates to the Act, enforcement by the MCMC will be more effective

Already reported in 2008! Still no action?

In fact, SKMM just forward back the complain to Astro to handle this issued. It might have a "Special teams" to handle this problem.
And also SKMM also don't have power to make a decisions towards the astro.

Kinda stupid and useless for this organization.

Looks that this news is just for show, as they make it as if like government officials is doing something on it to impress the people, but eventually no improvement. Or, perhaps there are some secrets going on between them and it is not being revealed...
