I think this is common know. They follow on what Netflix is doing. Cut cost & disney hate them.

Now enjoy more original content that need to pay addon & not include in the channel.
Well, for iflix they need to step up their game. About time they introduce HD package with more content. For now only The Flash S4, Britania, My First Love & The Magicians is Express from US/UK/Korea. Too little for RM8/month. Need atleast 1080p content. They think emerging market like Malaysia cannot stream HD with 4~5mbps speed?

Anyway, astro already got what all that FOX Asia Group channel. We only just don't have Nat Geo Wild HD & Baby TV HD.

Btw, still waiting when will Disney & CN will go to Unifi TV too. Since they can add Baby TV HD. Really hate the fact maybe incoming month Unifi TV will get Disney, Discovery & CN in HD first before astro...

The 10 new channels from Fox Networks Group are all included only in Jumbo Pack (RM60/month):
Fox Movies, Fox Action Movies, Fox Family Movies, FOX, FX, Fox Life, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Baby TV and Sky News.

According to that SMS message screenshot by smileguy, it seems that Unifi TV will be providing 2 months free preview... So good lah... Astro won't do that, even the launch of tvN Movies didn't give any free previews also.

Interesting fact: 10 new HD channel launch at the same day.

Astro last time 2014 say 10 new channel. But 8 HD & 2 SD only.

But astro not see TM as competitor. They coverage not as wide like astro.
Still waiting for Ansa.

These 10 channels are all from Fox Networks Group. That's why they launch all 10 at once without breaking much sweat.

By the way, now I also realise that, if you want your Astro to be relocated from your old to new home, you got to fork out RM65 as well..... Previously, relocation are free of charge...

Well, money is more important than anything else.
It mentioned "Astro Byond relocation", does it means if you're still using the legacy Astro boxes (old ones) you will get free relocation fees whenever you happen to move home? Perhaps.
But actually leh, you can relocate it yourself, by bringing your Astro box and satellite dish to your new home (unless your new home already got the dish installed beforehand), and then install and set-it-up yourself. It's quite easy if you know how. If you know how to DIY, you can save RM65.

astro's tight grip on service providers is slowly loosening ,very soon they will surely loose all exclusivity !! The squirrel wl finally get the taste of how a fall feels like! Unifi is moving fast and my area by year end ! As I have said I rather spend rm200 on good internet then on asstro!! Many deals with asstro failed,Tm and maxis too pulled out!Astro has to just contented with Njoi, sports and malay customer base

i think more and more astro channel will available in unifitv in the future. tm got money to play with it.

Speaking of UNIFI TV, now Malaysia football also live on UNIFI TV(along with IFLIX).

Yup, true...but recently TM n TNB joint venture to fully utilize fibre cable own by TNB. They lay the cable long time before TM start to use fibre cable. Initial use to control n monitor TNB equipment remotely but the bandwith they use just so little, wasted more. So hopefully after this TM can provide unifi anywhere as long the area got cover by TNB power supply even in rural area.

That gonna be long to wait. Even i know people all have access to TNB service. But, atleast there is something say will cover 6 million than just standard 1 million premise cover in 2010.

And that 1 million now expand to more area. Just hope atleast can subscribe to 10mbps unlimited torrent & game ping unifi soon...
