After 1 month of placement upon maturity, we can uplift the 1 month efd via PBe online (without going to the branch), and gain 1-month interest, right?

That is good. It is better than AmBank Islamic eFD (Minimum Fund for 1 month = RM1,000, Rate: 3.15%p.a.), mentioned in the first post.

hi any sifu / bro / sis can give advice on this interest given?
surprisingly cimb 3.20% give lower amount than ambank 3.15% hmm.gif
cimb                                        ambank

fd interest is by days.

cimb placement @ 12 Sep, mature @ 12 Oct, total 30 days, profit RM13.15
ambank placement @ 12 Oct, mature @ 12 Nov, total 31 days, profit RM13.38

if cimb's placement is equally 31 days, then you'd get profit RM13.59

May i know the 6 months tenure for 4.4% p.a which means is half a year...goes to 2.2% or still 4.4%? 2.2% for 6 months FD and another contract renew for another 6 months with 4.4%? cause its "4.4% p.a"

example : 10k after 6months = 440 for interest (4.4%) or 220 for 2.2% (half of 4.4% p.a)

so meaning to say if i want to get 4.4% i need to tenure 6 months and continue another 6 months for a full 4.4% p.a ? right?

does this applies to all FD bank?
*
interest rate always in p.a. or per annum.

if you place today 14 Oct, 6 months tenure is 182 days (mature on 14 Apr 2019)

that means your earning is 4.40% rate / 365 days per year = daily interest * 182 days tenure = 0.021939.... * 10,000 principal amount ≈ 219.40 (rounded) profit

Is that true?
