I am noob here, for example promo 4.5% FD rate for 6 month, does that mean if I deposit rm300k,after 6 month I will get interest rm13500?

if I remembered correctly there is 1 bank someone here mentioned you can use online
facilities with only a no fee basic account without any card what-so-ever, was it Ambank i think ?
1 question here when banks mentioned "fresh funds" if we IBG into from bank B into bank A (SA) then from there into bank A FD on same day or next
is it considered "fresh funds" ? or do we need to cash OTC ?

Actually Bank Rakyat is not the member of PIDM. Therefore all the deposits of Bank Rakyat are not protected under PIDM. It's protected by Ministry of Finance.

Silly but quick question, is Bank Rakyat deposit covered with prdm?
