Looks like diff branch SOP is different ? For the effective date on using BC.

I asked about the mthly interest, the officer said not shown on FD cert. May have to see if online anything shown there.

Going to move FD from MBSB to Muamalat. Forgot whether MBSB gives BC or has to do Rentas.

Anyone ?

Today moved fund from MBSB to Muamalat. With BC from MBSB, received cert within 20 minutes with effective date today.

Asked for gifts, got notepad and flask. No more neck fan. biggrin.gif

However Muamalat FD promo is min 50k. So for same day placement, better use Rentas or BC.

I dislike Rentas as will have to check when the money is going in. Only use Rentas if the bank need cheque clearance for FD effective date, losing some
interest.

I changed transaction limit days ahead to the max.

If want on the same day as FD maturity, have to go to MBSB and remind them to uplift the hold amt.

Now contemplating to go to Alliance Bank today or do eFD. biggrin.gif

Ended up did not go to Alliance. Their T n C said dormant acct not eligible. So has to activate acct first.

Just did eFD to AmBank.

Muamalat 12 mth 3.98% but need to apply for credit card ?

Bank Islam 12 mth 4%, any SA tie up of say 10k ?
