“Term Deposit-i (Tawarruq) or “TDT” means the
product offered by Bank Islam based on the
Shariah concept of Tawarruq.

means, it's "fd" with different name to be compliant with shariah concept.

= lower entry barrier
= more ppl can enjoy the FD promo benefits
= more sales activities can be targeted
= more reach and awareness to do banking/FD

let both parties sort it out. they have the recovery process, depending on where the error hits.

hlb side cant do much as it's been successfully authorized to be deducted (to cimb).



check cimb side constantly if the efd created later.

if cimb system failed to recognize the incoming fpx fund (due to transaction interruption you caused ), then it will be up to paynet system to timeout and reroute the fund back to source (hlb)

again, this may take few days for all systems to sync/handshake the transaction timeout, status ...

nahhh can't go missing without any trail

just more troublesome to wait all parties to sync and clear.

few days lor for me...that was the maybank efd cases last year; happened to many users here. normally i dont use efd via fpx due to reliability issue.

even cimb has advised you normally refund will be between 3-5 working days mah

wont be gone la.... always a digital trail somewhere .... 3 parties are involved: source bank, fpx/paynet routing system, and destination bank.

also, showing too much info (pending status) has its pros and cons. just like how banking app/web showing unposted CC transactions.
