It is correct. but in reality u can expect a speed lower than the theoretical speed, my download does spike to 3.7MB/s sometimes but most of the time around 3.2MB/s++ (stable)

8 bits = 1 Byte
30Mbps = 3.75MBps

I guess, i could increase my torrent speed cap then. As my line is shared with others, I usually capped it at lower speed

Of course it won't be, as torrent would depend on the seed/peer thingy.
ok now i confuse again, in terms of kB/s, what would it be for Unifi 30mbps package?

realised that uTorrent uses kB/s as measurement of speed, and math is not my forte, hahah

3750kBps lo...
That's what I was trying to say, Torrent's speed cannot be used as benchmark speed.

seriously, based on the 30Mbps bandwidth, even u are doing torrents at maximum speed, it does not really affect web browsing or youtube at the same time at all. at least for my experience it is.

i do not even need to enable the bandwidth control on my tp-link wifi router, and it works like charm. thumbup.gif

Hi all =D
Newbie here...
just install unifi yesterday =D [need help!]

I have wrongly performed factory data reset on my Hypptv Set-top Box.
It is because I failed to connect to the wifi for internet access.

Now I wish to perform system upgrade but it shown the server address does not exist.

Anyone out there can help me out? what is the correct or native server address that allows us to perform system upgrade?

my current server address is http://201.187.19.170:8082. Hypptv Device Model : EC108V8

My current device status:
Software version: IPTV STB V100R003C01LMYTb1
App Version: v812101630215
System Version: Android 4.4.2
Kernel Version: 3.10.0_s40

Please somebody help me out.. Appreciate much on ur effort and time.. Thanks a lot. happy.gif

Thanks! I am now setting my torrent to capped at 2000kBps, to allow half of the bandwidth for others.
Yeah, it would not the case that torrent would go max at 2000kBps all the time, but at least this is the fastest it could go.

Really depends on which client you are using. I am using torrent, and i were to uncheck the two criteria, it would make browsing/youtube very slow Attached Image. The 'Stop transfer on user interaction', tick/untick alos the same for me, haha
