I thought, it common for bank to float RM200 on credit card when paying at island terminal (pump kiosk), because most Petrol Station island terminal don't send the amount to bank directly during the payment, so bank has to float/allocate RM200 for transaction made on island terminal, until the bank received the exact figure, then only the exact amount is being charged on statement. Depends on CC bank i reckoned.

actually there are some pumps which allows you to do that.
i know BHP at kuchai lama can set either currency/volume limit. once you set it, it will automatically stop the pump when it reaches the limit. if set to currency limit the CC deduction will follow as well.

these are very very rare though.

Yes, you are absolutely correct on stating this matter. Float will always follow when using your credit card at the pump kiosk.

Try to us samsung pay at padini genting premium outlets.But they only accept pin and pay system

this few day i went greyhound for lunch and they only accept chip n pin, no wave, no swipe ....

All lame and backward visioned retailers and F&B operators. Stear clear of them!!!

Samsung Pay can be used at Remax @ Sunway Velocity Mall. I just asked to wave and tap my phone on the terminal.

Down to Bones @ OUG accepts Samsung Pay. Terminal has no wave but MST can be used.
