QUOTE(Maiden222 @ Jun 9 2017, 02:39 PM) I believe the limit you mentioned here is for debit card transaction limit where you can set in M2U, not the contactless payment limit. I've called their CS few times trying to increase the limit but to no avail. |

QUOTE(Maiden222 @ Jun 9 2017, 02:39 PM) The RM250 limit is set by Bank Negara Malaysia (as safety precautions....). However, we can always "reset" this RM250 limit by swiping the same PHYSICAL credit card (using 6-digit PIN) to other/same terminal to reset the SPay limit back to zero... it's like split-payment...Eg: Total amount to pay = RM1,200 1st = SPay = RM250 2nd = Physical card = RM10 3rd = SPay = RM250 4th = Physical card = RM190 5th = SPay = RM250 6th = Physical card = RM250... All done on the same terminal within minutes... Alternatively, you can also use SPay for the Zero-Interest credit card payment anytime.... just select 6-month, 12-month, 24-month, etc. Zero-Interest options offered by the banks.... Thank you now I know. That limit is too lowEg: Total amount to pay = RM1,200 1st = SPay = RM250 2nd = Physical card = RM10 3rd = SPay = RM250 4th = Physical card = RM190 5th = SPay = RM250 6th = Physical card = RM250... CIMB pay only nfc.... Samsung pay got both mst and nfc, you can use almost everywhere, even ancient credit card terminal, as long as got "swipe" slot . CIMB pay not very convenient ( in term of launching the app and initialize the payment thing ) to use compare to samsung pay. This post has been edited by dr2k3: Jun 18 2017, 09:13 AM |

QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 18 2017, 09:24 AM) So for Samsung Pay, it doesn't matter if merchant terminal is using Visa or Mastercard host? i didn't notice actually, i just use....so far no problem on the visa or mastercard paywave vice versa thingy....Am I right? As for as I know, CIMB Mastercard Wave cannot be used on Maybank terminal. but by right...even using card.....CIMB mastercard wave should be doesn't matter....as long as the Maybank terminal accept Visa and Mastercard + paywave feature. McDonald is using maybank terminal, you can try there to confirm yourself, either by card or mobile payment. |
