Used Samsung pay today at h&m using my S8+. Cashier rejected at first stating they only use cards that can slot in the machine, not the swiping type. But I insisted to try (first time ma). And it was successful! Felt super cool using Samsung pay for the first time. But kinda lame still need to actually sign the receipt lol. Is it normal to have to sign the receipt when using Samsung pay?

During the initial/beta testing stage, my success rate was about 1 out of 10 attempts simply because the CASHIER reluctant or never know how to operate "card-less" transactions. Now, the stat slightly better at 7 out of 10 attempts. The 3 unsuccessful are due to CASHIER again; despite I educate them on the spot... Wait till Apple Pay arrives here and the success rate will be 10 out of 10 attempts simply because the CASHIER* are also using iPhone(s)...LOL... Uniqlo didn't accept Samsung Pay or even CIMBPay (their terminal got CIMB wording but sigh they didnt allow it).

anyone tried adding your maybank visa debit card to samsung pay? is it working?
i was able to add my debit card into samsung pay last 2 month but yesterday i factory reset my phone and now i keep hitting error unable to add. |

Nope it depends their machine have update or not. I went 4 shops using swipe keep get card error but if use my normal credit card no issue. |
