I also took an interest in electric vehicle industry metals (more specifically battery metals) miners recently, so will share some info.

I think its important to know the risks associated with investing with these stocks, and not just think in terms of price volatility and metal prices. Especially for junior miners, which are high risk high return. In general junior miners own a promising tract of land and little other assets. They go through multiple rounds of increasingly detailed studies on their land to verify that it contains sufficient metals to mine them economically, and how to mine them, before building the facilities to mine them. Each step takes significant time, and production might be many years away. Not to mention each step requires cash, which is usually raised through stock offering, diluting your holdings along the way.

Of course, if you are a short term trader, all these don't matter as much.

The metals are projected to be in short supply, but prices won't go up to too extreme values. If the batteries get too expensive, car manufacturers will just make fewer cars.

National Australia Bank chief executive Andrew Thorburn is unleashing a $1 billion cost-cutting drive he says is needed to prepare the bank for a world of tougher competition and soft economic conditions.

Mr Thorburn on Thursday said up to 6,000 jobs would be lost over the next three years, as part of a plan to slash expenses while investing in new technology, including by using automation to replace work done by people.

Shares price dropped to $29.47 can collect ?

Sorry folks,.... been busy,....

Well,... for NAB, I'm queueing at 28.90,... I think,... have not logged-in to my platform for quite awhile,... it's good to collect, with the cost-cutting drive, I'm confident NAB's earnings will pickup in the yrs to come,....

Another good pt is : NAB is quite 'generous' with its dvd payout,... so, I think can accumulate,...

For growth,.... yep, I'm holding-on to PLS and AJM,.... Elon MUsk has built that big battery in SA within 100 days as promised, hence,... lots of publicity for EVs and for batteries now,...

But Lithium ctr prices dropped today,...

AJM =Altura Mining Ltd, whose grounds/assets are also adjacent to PLS',...A few publications said that the three mining plays that should start production play this year would be AJM, TAW and PLS.

I read somewhere too that TAW shoustart production by FIRST QUARTER this year !!!!!!!!

All three above should load their ores onto ships latest by June 2018, bound for China, start fulfilling their offtake agreement....

I think it was due to resolving its lithium production in Chile. Nevertheless, these last few days it has been up for quite a long time.

Not holding any lithium stocks but the cobalt play in Australia is very interesting. There have been significant findings in GED stock, planning to ride all the way. Having all speculative stocks at the moment including WFE and SAS for long term keep. Am very new on the ASX but nevertheless, need to start somewhere.

As an example, current Junior miner producers such as NeoMetals (-3.4%), Galaxy Resources (-8.9%) and Orocobre (-3.7%) are all potential options to look into. Likewise, the story for 2018 producers and 2019 producers has largely not changed at least in the near term. Thus, projects such as Pilbara Minerals (-7.4%), Altura Mining (-6.9%), Tawana Resources (-5%), Lithium America’s (-15%), and Nemaska Lithium (-6.15%) might all be interesting plays to look into following the news release.

yeap.. the big question is to add. or to cut loss.

i choose to do nothing and see first.

i still hv a bit SYA, PLS , Tawana, CXO.

Lithium ctrs recovered today, inline with the recovery of the ASX Index. I observed that, as of now, PLS recovered the most, at 6.38%, whereas AJM and TAW recovered around 5.50% only,....

Something to observe as in the above,....
