NAB produced a great report today : record cash profit for the last financial year,......will be giving out a dvd of 99 Aussie Cts, fully-franked,....

Congratulations to some shareholders here who stood by this bank,.... the Aussies don't have much confidence for this bank, though,... they preferred the CBA. But, I'm Asian,... hehe,... I support NAB,....

Short report follows :-

Nov 2 (Reuters) - National Australia Bank (NAB) (NAB) posted a 2.5 percent rise in annual cash profit on Thursday, helped by surging home loan volumes and higher business lending margins, but said it would shed about 6,000 jobs.

Cash profit rose to A$6.64 billion ($5.09 billion) for the year ended Sept. 30, from A$6.48 billion a year earlier, Australia's fourth largest lender said. It said it expected to cut about 6,000 staff from now to 2020 as it automates its business.

As a result, it said it expects to take restructuring charges of A$500 million to A$800 million in the first half of fiscal 2018, and sees a spike in expenses of between 5 percent and 8 percent over the year.

The bank said its statutory net profit rose to A$5.29 billion from A$352 million from the previous year when it took a one-off charge related to the sale of its British business.

NAB's net interest margin, a key gauge of profitability, fell 3 basis points from last year.

In May, the Australian government said it would charge a 6 basis-point levy on the mortgage books of the country's major lenders, a measure to cool the housing market and bolster the federal budget.

NAB declared a final dividend of A$0.99 per share, the same as the previous year.

($1 = 1.3033 Australian dollars)

no dividend.. and move up super fast.. also super fast down for SYA.

especially for SYA.

i bought at .02... and next day it shot to .034 . but I did not take action
an now its back to .028. coz they found gold or something.. on the day it shot up.

My aim to buy for mid term . did not expect it go fluctuate like this.

i realise ASX.. every little news will affect the price for that day. eg DDR in august about the NZ thing.

Yes, news affects ctrs a lot,.. sometimes, even if no news, the ctr also moves,... then we start ransacking the net here and there and asking round.Yeah,... DDR,... but it has gone back up,... I'm still queueing at 2.62,... I still believed in this ctr.

It pays dvd 4 times a year,... this is one pull factor for me.

i am also more keen on DIV counters.

Hence, taken a look at technical ctrs that would bode well for electric vehicles (EVs), and came to the conclusion that the energy source is the heart of this !

Bought into PLS strongly two days ago,... will ride this trend already since Keppel Corp intelligence confirmed,... in friendly talks,....

SYA rose.. to +42% in a day.

and i dispose at .035... close .038!!! high of .04

It's okay of these lithium counters drop,... just their behaviour,... what we need to look forward to is everyday news of the electric car being promoted more and more to the world,... every single one of this news appearing will move the counter higher and higher,....
