My speaker went to hospital last week so i can't compare the SQ since i'm using an old hifi now...

But XTREME does confirm there's some diff after changing the 4 decoupling caps

Right satellite distort at low frequency (200Hz ---> donno)

Just got back from short vacation well thats a nice mod there UNDERGROUND, much better looking than my card that looks like someone who creates Frankenstein makes them

FYI, my stock caps aren't G-LUXON or JAMICON, they are WINCAP... They good ? Or worse ?

my decoupling caps are also Wincap...when i google it, only 1 result matched, which is Malaysia company who made it..and i don't think it is good....

They are crap too, well, my card is made in Malaysia, which is weird. The soldering job on this card is the worse thing I see from a sound card, the caps are not perfectly perpendicular to the card, even the leg is sticking out and not perfectly flat on the card

not yours only, my SC exactly same as you...so not weird if they use local "Wincrap"...

Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer is a good buy? For normal usage only lo.. Just wanted to replace my onboard sound for a better quality one. Or should i get Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music 7.1?

Not sure if it's a cut cost replacement for XM...

X-Fi Xtreme Gamer = X-Fi Xtreme Music....but XtremeMusic discontinued adi and replaced by half PCB X-Fi XtremeGamer....what speaker you use now? if you really want X-Fi sound card, go garage sales, a lot of cheap bulk there..i prefer XtremeMusic because it is full PCB and Gold Plated

i am using edifier m3200 haha. I wanna use my ksc75 on my pc but the sound just too crap when i plug into onboard sound card. How about the fatality one? BUt rm150 and rm220 different quite big, nearly rm100. I dont wanna fork out too much also.. is the x-ram really useful on fatality?
