maybe the sensor at the multimedia keys are faulty. better go back to sony center and get it checked.

my CS also like that, the problem with the volume key, the playback key and Av mode is fine, only the volume area need to press harder then can detect.  |

Got mine straight from Sony  They say just arrive today but i haven't seen the spec yet because its in my dad office  Will let you guys know tonight!  |
