Anyone knows where can I still find the Z12 models? Planning to upgrade to that one. Oh yea, I'm selling my Vaio SZ, check it out in Garage sales.

You can get the Z12 from Lowyat Sony Centre. I bought mine there last year for RM7488, much cheaper now, can get the Z26 version for the same price.

just for reminder, for those who asking the name to be put in the list, the ts has retired from this thread. therefore please refrain from quoting the dead list since its not going to be updated (unless the ts decided to return back) or wait for the new thread or should we create a new one now?. lol.

Just bought my gf a Sony Vaio VGN CS16G (pink) 2 weeks ago. For RM3988 package includes upgrade to 4gb ram, original Sony matching laptop carrying case (pink), keyboard protector and mouse.

I immediately re-formatted the HDD and install Vista Permium 64bit so as to utilize the 4gb ram. Took me like three hours+ to gather all the drivers for her lappy. I wonder why SOny does not support 64bit officially for all the laptops. Now that I have all the drivers installed, I still can't get the multimedia keys (the play/pause, stop, and volume touch buttons) to work. Any sifus here know what I need to get it to work?

Thanks in advance

for the battery, i think you enable the battery care function..

you can go to start-->VAIO Control Center-->power management-->battery charge function to disable it wink.gif

Went to SS KLCC today just to see for some new models, if any. Most of the regular models out of stock and some display tables are empty. Guess alot of new models will be out soon.
