Just to share, I have a S5 with a 1060 in it too. The temp is also around 69 celcius when I play games like Doom. Its pretty normal to hit that number.

hi i just owned my z5.

as far as i know z5 is dual fan cooling system. but when i try switching to turbo fan boost using Fn+1 I noticed only left sided fans is working hard. there is no wind blowing from the right channel. is this normal?

Hi, I'm currently shopping for a gaming laptop and came across Illegear. I tried to find a product compare option on your website but I can't seem to find it.

How can I see a comparison between the Z5 and Laguna? And since I'm here, whats the essential difference between these two models? Thanks!

The differences between LAGUNA and Z5 are:

1. Laguna doesn't utilize Nvidia optimus graphics switching. Z5 does. Laguna uses dedicated GPU all the time.
2. Laguna has smaller and slimmer chassis, bigger battery, and RGB keyboard & touchpad.
3. Z5 is RM300 cheaper.
4. LAGUNA has GTX1070 8GB option.

The temperature of GTX1060 are about the same in both models.

now new problem arise, on Z5, when USB thumbdrive plug in to second left side of usb port, the first (left) usb port with usb dongle for mouse will not work. any ideas what happen?

Hello. Is it normal for my z5 to display gpu temp of 77 to 81. And cpu tem 77 to 85..using afterburner to monitor it.

CPU is normal. For GPU, what model of GPU are you using?

Gtx 1060 6gb

That's slightly higher than our benchmark 70C, perhaps you can send to us for checking your thermal paste/dust condition?
