hi, i am recently having problem charging my z5 as well
the icon showing 66% not charging, HWmonitor show 54% wear level, no over heating and all parts temperature less than 50C.
but once turn off the adapter, the laptop shut down straight away, can not be turned on. if turn the adapter on, then the laptop can turn on and the keyboard light went to default mode.
can i know how much is the cost to change the battery and how long does the process need? it is like the battery died completely even if the system showing 66%

QUOTE(Yvesleo @ Jul 2 2017, 01:38 PM) do u think i should update my window 10 using the window update assistance on the desktop? i haven't try that, it auto update, windows 10 update is like batch update, so it may be a bit slow for some user to get it. can try update

QUOTE(David11 @ Sep 18 2017, 02:40 PM) But the problem is I think my battery was drained. Whenever I unplug my AC adapter, my laptop will shut off immediately. Unplug terus shut down battery kong already, new unit just go do the warranty. Mine happened after 1 year plus, just changed for few months, but now stuck 92%, probably just a windows issues since unplug still can use.

QUOTE(ghliang @ Oct 28 2017, 01:55 PM) I find Z7 speaker sound relatively quite. Is that normal? realtek audio manager? can try loudness equalization in the sound effect tab

QUOTE(wklim090 @ Nov 24 2017, 06:30 PM) Now my Z5 (v2) battery cannot last longer than 3 hours during normal usage (surfing web, youtube, etc.). The battery can't even fully charged in one shot, eg. it will charge till 55% then stop and continue for charging after 1 or 2 hours. Sometimes the battery will take more than 8 hours to be fully charged. Does it mean that my battery is dying and need to be replaced soon? Btw, my laptop is 2 years old. how much percent bettery wear? 8 hours is too long already

QUOTE(AZIM@ILLEGEAR @ Nov 30 2017, 10:07 AM) Truly sorry to hear about this issue Kindly note that we will not be operating on this Friday because of the public holiday, but we will be operating on Saturday though (10:00am to 7:30pm). Is it possible to replace on Saturday if send in morning? Otherwise might need to wait till January cuz flying to kuching this month the battery just changed in july i think so fast died, might need to check the production batch. Hello fellow owners,
after many years, my z5 now can not turn on, power indicator light is on but nothing happen pressing power button, long press will cause the light to switch off and on again like a reset. It briefly displayed cmos checksum bad a day before but still can get in windows and used normally, then the next day can't start at all, unplugging the cmos battery does not help.
unfortunately i am in kuching now, so it would not be possible to send back to KL for checking. Looking for any reliable repairer in kuching if anyone knows.
Thanks.

Just an update in case anyone in kuching need to service I found an independent repair service called M.D. COMPUTER STATION, got my z5 repaired, some problem with the motherboard and it has been fixed, can use like normal now, the owner is quite nice and responsive, repair and cleaning + thermal, RM490. Quite a reasonable price considering buying new laptop is so expensive now. This is his fb, it has the contact number and he is easily reached. https://www.facebook.com/mdcomputerstation Hopefully my laptop can tahan for another year or 2 and no more chip shortage/ gpu problems etc when i go for the next purchase.
