I saw very good reviews for ASM 655, what did you think?

First off all, i really like marcos martin's art, clean and old skool feel to it. I even bought an extra copy of ASM featuring his cover so that i can frame it. Dan Slott on the other hand, is showing his true colors when he became the sole asm writer.

ASM 655, its a great issue for me. The first part of the story, its about marla's funeral and the story is without dialog. The second story deals with peter's guilt from day one - uncle ben death, and how he tried to mend it ever since.

This year gonna be a great year from spidey imho. In 654.1, there's a preview of what coming ahead - including MJ getting spideys power!

why dc finished up the azrael issue? i was about to get into it, then today i realized that it was the last issue...haih

i think its because low sale of the title

On that subject has anyone heard what Claremont is coming out with next? He apparently has a contract/deal with Marvel that means he must have 2 books work a month. Same is true for Tom DeFalco and why his Spider-Girl kept going so long even though sales were pretty poor.

Added on March 7, 2011, 12:42 amYeah I was an interview with Slott and he said he thought it was the best comic he ever wrote, seems you agree too. I don't buy single issues anymore but I think that's sold me on getting the trade.

Go for it. The last time Bleeding Cool showed cheap prices I ordered, Amazon came back and said it was a mistake but they gave me $35 vouchers so I just ordered some other comics for free!

Just found this thread, didn't know there was a thread for comic collectors. Been collecting comics on and off since 1994. Used to collect spidey but the whole clone saga was very annoying and made me stop collecting spidey nowadays read mostly Dark Horse stuff like Hellboy, BPRD and The Goon plus some Marvel Stuff. currently waiting for my Conan TPBs from TFAW.com.
