MUST send passenger? Haha. You are delusional. Its a free world and There is no such thing la bro. Its should be mutual. Otherwise why have cancel button for both driver and rider?

There is no such thing as MUST. If the driver think your money worth the destination they will pick you. Otherwise just cancel it and wait for willing driver.

Dont be an arrogant kid and think your small money can buy you anything.

Not sure why are you getting so defensive over this issue but it is written in Uber policy so there's really nothing to argue about but whatever floats your boat man.

For uber if the rider is paying cash, whatever the green screen shows, that is what the rider needs to pay, which is inclusive of tolls.

Look back at your trip history, if some of the tolls are not added, u need to report to Uber and they will compensate u. Uber tends to miss adding some of the toll plaza's.

Grab one is memang need to key in manually

So means for Grab.. I need to pay extra for the toll charges when I get out of the car?

Say app shows RM10... I need to pay RM10 + toll charges?

I once booked a Uber from Sunway Pyramid and the driver called me upon confirmation to ask me where am I going. I told him my destination and he told me he only go to airport, asked me to cancel the booking. I wasn't expecting taxi attitude and needless to say I'm mad as hell, I scolded him right away and he just keep insisting me to cancel it. Made a report to uber afterward and only got a reply that they will investigate it and when I insisted them to update me with follow up they didn't reply me. Shame on them if no action was taken

Pyramid...

Tons of short trips, and I mean really short like 1-3km.
Bunch of spoilt brats who is "tempang", when there are buses, trains, and covered walkways for their convenience.

Can't blame the Uber drivers for asking your destination, we have gotten sick of these trips.
I once drove for 2-3 hours from Pyramid to nearby apartments, completing 9 trips and netting rm30 ?
After that, I swear I will never go online near Pyramid anymore.

Unless there is a 2.2x surge, or Uber implements minimum fare in that area.

Either you are telling the truth, or he is drunk.
A trip to Kepong is considered good enough, not mentioning there is always a high demand of rides there.
An airport trip only happen once in a blue moon, and he is waiting ?

Took grab the very first time this morning at KLIA2..back to PJ.

Got a driver with 5 star rating..big sedan summore..but..end up its another guy that drive me using a different car. Told me that it's his partner and the work for the same "company".

His partner was driving with phone in hand looking at GPS all the way back to PJ. It was a really wtf first time experience for me..

PLEASE REPORT !!

The taxis are gaming the system at both airport KLIA and KLIA2.
They will go online with their mobile, and when there is ping - they will assign their friend to go fetch the rider.
Quite a number of riders have this experience already.

This is just my own observation after 3 months using Uber/Grabcar

For short trip ride eg less than RM5 fare I always use Grab to be fair to the driver.

I noticed Malay drivers will reject short trip drives but any Chinese driver will immediately accept the job.

P/S: Not being racist, I am Malay too

We definitely won't know the destination, until we swipe "start trip".

rider incorrectly states the pickup/drop-off point.

I did that once, I state the right place but the GPS was off so the driver saw me at the wrong place...

Anyway I paiseh when he arrived from 2 street away so I gave him extra $10 as tips.

Actually to be honest, if you feel pyramid area have tons of fares you dont like... dont accept to start with.. go pick up from elsewhere. If we want this kinda choosy drivers we would take the normal taxi...

My first ride on Uber was from overseas.... instead of a $20 ride form the hotel, i used Uber and got a free first ride.. that's like almost RM100 trip free... damn syiok.

After that, on the same trip, I used Uber from KLIA to my house. I got pickup by a really well educated and worldly driver. This malay chap does it part time and was on his way back from an overseas trip as well.

One of the most awesome conversation I ever had on a taxi, we talked about J route, UK PM Question time, shadow govt, etc.... didnt touch on local politics.
