I once booked a Uber from Sunway Pyramid and the driver called me upon confirmation to ask me where am I going. I told him my destination and he told me he only go to airport, asked me to cancel the booking. I wasn't expecting taxi attitude and needless to say I'm mad as hell, I scolded him right away and he just keep insisting me to cancel it. Made a report to uber afterward and only got a reply that they will investigate it and when I insisted them to update me with follow up they didn't reply me. Shame on them if no action was taken

QUOTE(Triton @ Apr 5 2017, 12:24 PM) Lol, If the driver dont want to go to your location its up to him. Why scold him. He is not your slave. Just cancel the ride and request another driver la. I encounter many case like this and i have no problem cancelling the ride if the driver request as I understand ride sharing should be mutual. If the driver dont want to go to where I want to go, its fine and its his right. I just wait for another driver or I can just call a taxi. These days many stupid rider think their money can force driver to serve them. Are you being serious? By right the driver have to go anywhere we requested them to, they cannot choose. This is why Uber make it that the driver cannot see their passenger destination until they picked them up. It's even in Uber policy that driver must drive the passenger to anywhere they want.

QUOTE(Triton @ Apr 6 2017, 07:10 AM) MUST send passenger? Haha. You are delusional. Its a free world and There is no such thing la bro. Its should be mutual. Otherwise why have cancel button for both driver and rider? There is no such thing as MUST. If the driver think your money worth the destination they will pick you. Otherwise just cancel it and wait for willing driver. Dont be an arrogant kid and think your small money can buy you anything. Not sure why are you getting so defensive over this issue but it is written in Uber policy so there's really nothing to argue about but whatever floats your boat man.

QUOTE(Utopia Angel @ Apr 8 2017, 11:15 AM) Pyramid... Tons of short trips, and I mean really short like 1-3km. Bunch of spoilt brats who is "tempang", when there are buses, trains, and covered walkways for their convenience. Can't blame the Uber drivers for asking your destination, we have gotten sick of these trips. I once drove for 2-3 hours from Pyramid to nearby apartments, completing 9 trips and netting rm30 ? After that, I swear I will never go online near Pyramid anymore. Unless there is a 2.2x surge, or Uber implements minimum fare in that area. To be fair, I'm going to Kepong and he only wanted to go to airport
