QUOTE(PhoLyfe @ Feb 14 2017, 11:38 AM) Anyone has comment about CM trigger-Z? There is a promotion for 300 in storeuni. Not cheap. I bought it a year ago from Sri Computer clearance also RM300. It's not bad, even have 2usb port extension to plug your mouse. Not to mention the palm rest is a bonus. About a month later, I went to a warehouse sale and bought CM Stealth for RM200. I decided to use this one instead since it had mx red which is softer. Was planning to use the trigger for my office work but laptop was stolen during a break in. Still haven't bought a replacement.

TriggerZ doesnt have usb hub, I guess that was trigger (slightly older than triggerZ). Gotten the keyboard, feels solid and all but the rubberised part on the palm rest was too sticky ( old product dont blame though), washed it off and now its awesome . Sad to hear about your laptop, Hopefully your company compensate for your replacement This post has been edited by PhoLyfe: Feb 19 2017, 12:22 PM

QUOTE(4lt4ir @ Feb 18 2017, 01:33 PM) MX Blacks not amazing as is? My Ducky cherry mx black is very scratchy. Also, would prefer it to be slightly lighter. Hence I'm very interested to try out a gateron yellow board for it's lighter and smoother switch

At this price point only can go for those non-cherry mx. Cherry MX 1 all above RM 300, averagely RM 350 to RM 450. Unless some clearance promo, which will below RM 300. Why Cherry MX keyboard so expensive? at manufacturing cost, Cherry MX switch cost about 0.50 USD to 1.0 USD per switch.

At that price tag quite improbable to get a decent one. Unless you are willing to look at second hand product but that also you will have to hunt a bit. If you are interested let me know. I have one to let go.

Hi guys. I saw the razer wrist rest for the Razer Ornata. Very comfy ... soft, plushy material. Unfortunately it comes only if you buy the keyboard which is around RM 300+ (Non RGB version)
Anyone knows if there is a similar kind of product in the market?
Mostly i see is wood material or the hard leather one from ducky.

Quite liked it.

QUOTE(davey.havok @ Feb 5 2017, 02:51 PM) hmm why lol? unless you're suggesting GMK keycaps, which, in my opinion, feels better than PBT, but gets that typical ABS shine under a year of heavy usage with quadruple or more the price. some people might like the shine, but some definitely dont. so yea, pbt keycaps is still the best all rounder and the best value, for me personally. edit: didnt realize ur reply was weeks ago working my way down the notifications in my 'notices' tab This post has been edited by G_KeN: Feb 19 2017, 09:25 PM

I would really hate it when it become sticky. Mine was in perfect condition despite being an older product.

Mine was in perfect condition despite being an older product. I dont really like rubberised surface since I have sweaty-er palms , the rubber surface would be more of a hassle than being a nice touch. As for the frame of the keyboard, it wasnt as bad as the palm rest and I dont touch the frame much so it more a ' nicer finishing' for an occasional touching.
