I’m looking forward to trying their new tkl from cm too.
Although pro s still acts weird sometimes, it’s my current primary for gaming. This post has been edited by horns: Jan 19 2018, 10:57 AM |

QUOTE(irsyadfy @ Jan 19 2018, 11:15 AM) i suggest u change ur keycaps soon. Pad printed, according to Deskthority.i lost my 'S'-key legend because of excessive dota night. its laser etched PBT iinm? I've been looking at keycaps, but damn they are expensive. I thought of getting ABS ones from china/kbdfans, but I think i'll hold off for awhile hahaha. |

QUOTE(illuminarias @ Jan 19 2018, 11:35 AM) Pad printed, according to Deskthority. ok thanks for correcting. it is pad printed.I've been looking at keycaps, but damn they are expensive. I thought of getting ABS ones from china/kbdfans, but I think i'll hold off for awhile hahaha. and yea, as per review, "Unfortunately CM went with pad printing for the legends, making the use of PBT material rather meaningless. A real shame because the legends will soon wear off and you'll need to replace the keycaps anyway (PBT or not)." and i can confirm that coz my legends are almost gone after 1 night of heavy gaming. just start off by buying any cheap ones. but u will feel the diff between thick n thin keycaps. |

QUOTE(everdomdom @ Jan 20 2018, 12:03 PM) Hi guys firstly note that boards with better qualities start at myr 350 or above (might not come with led). with below 200 + a little topup, you can check out the garage sales section for boards with gateron switches.I am looking for mechanical keyboard with illumination (more to office typing/coding wont mind of the clicky sounds, with some casual gaming) any recommendation? Budget is around 200 or less Thanks! if you're really tight on budget, you can get something with outemu switches, like those from 1st player or tecware. for office use, it's best to have brown (tactile) or red (linear) switches. |

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy some DSA profile keycaps to fill up a board.
I don't care about the legends or colors of the caps, but blanks and symbols preferred. I need the following sizes: 6x 1.25u 2x 1.5u 2x 1u I was thinking RM4 a cap, but price negotiable. I'm looking for stuff you guys want to get rid of, nothing premium as it's not a premium board, thanks! [posted this on malaysia mech market fb group but it's pending approval] |

Was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent cheap "board" to start as a base for modding?
Basically I found myself with a whole full keyboard set of Cherry MX brown switches. Thinking of buying a sturdy cheaper brand, desoldering the old switches to replace with MX browns. Preferably, non backlit. |

Well, I didn't back for years, and Filco seems to die down?
Still recommend for daily typing? Mine still rock solid after all these years. Looking for Full size for office use since I will be handling more "numbers" task from now on. Any good alternative to Filco great typing feels? And erm, no customs please... Thank you in advance. Cheers to those still subs and modding mech keyboards. |

filco is still one of the best prebuilt brands, and it's still one of the cheapest if you considered its solid build qualities.
uh? ceased? that means we can only get it by importing now? that's bad news. edit: that also means new mkb users don't have a good reference to start with. other alternatives are not exactly easy to get locally too. (leopold; varmilo) that's really bad. This post has been edited by horns: Jan 24 2018, 11:46 PM |
