a nice choice, and the price is ok also. there are some enjoypbt users at mymkb fb page, maybe you should ask for user feedback there also.

no, good-quality dye subbed caps might not be as pricey. the sets that i have linked here previously are relatively cheap (not from enjoypbt), but might not be of your taste lol

both uses abs. (corsair k70 uses cherry mx switches, while ornata uses their own mecha-membrane switches) you can get original pbt cap sets for corsair k70.

yeah. the set you picked above is like one of the collectable sets iinm.

taihao caps are ok in general, but i think they're relatively thinner than enjoypbt. (i have some taihao's also) if you're used to enjoypbt, it's very likely that you will not use taihao anymore.

haha yeah i like pbt caps a lot too, especially those thick and soft types. (not really soft; it's more like smooth) they're really nice to type on.

the sets from varmilo and recent ducky have somewhat rough/grainy surfaces. their profiles are different also (ducky uses oem profile, varmilo uses step sculpture 2, and enjoypbt uses cherry)

edit: typo. easypbt pulak!

not sure about the spacebar sizes. i don't have enjoypbt sets haha

from what i have read previously, it was about their spacebars being loosed at the sides. usually a scotch tape or something on stabilizers will solve this. (few of my key cap sets have that issue also. besides loosed sides for spacebar, they cause terrible rattling)

oh nice. wait wow that's far lol but it's nice to have such a meetup there also

need to find time go to shops with ducky one 2 displayed. wanna give ducky another try. i have read that they have improved the modifiers and space bar since ducky one. hopefully this is true.

I received the pricelist, it's about RM 399 for their TKL model (non-led), and RM 439 for full size. What they did lacks in the new model, is they only mentioned the keyboard is using new USB type-C, and newer case.
Seems their board coming out in very fast pace, each with minor changes.

nice bro haha thanks a lot for the info. i have skipped some generations so i think it's time. i had a brief check on specs at the official site previously (yeah really not many changes). i'm interested in the non-led tkl because of the following:

1. detachable usb type-c cable;
2. double-shot pbt caps; the skyline set is nice (i have horizon and blue-grey sets already)
3. 10x additional caps;
4. new bezel design (should provide stronger support to minimize keyboard creaks when pressed on the frame).

now i just need to confirm that they have better space bar and modifiers. have read that ducky has done something similar to varmilo's since shine 5/one. hopefully they keep it that way.

edit: a trend to note - detachable usb type-c cable and double-shot thick pbt key caps are getting attentions from prebuilt mkb manufacturers these days. for instance, cooler master already produced models that have these features. if they can merge these nice things, fix their modifiers and space bar like ducky and then their buggy firmware, it will be a good option to consider also. (note that the thick pbt on cm boards are 1.5mm thick; thicker than ikbc's)

oh ok.

for prebuilts there are only some that have decent overall qualities out-of-box. the good thing of a mkb is that some short comings of a prebuilt can be rectified with mods.

here are some notes about silenced gk64: basically i wanted to get similar feels as varmilo's space bar and modifiers. this is where i am stuck. the mods have improved the board a lot compared to stock, except for modifiers and space bar :/ (the more obvious one is space bar; modifiers are ok)

i have done the following mods for space bar and modifiers:
- lubed silent switches (using thick lube only; good effects to me);
- lubed and clipped stabilizers;
- band-aid mod (i use electrical tape; maybe this is the wrong material to use)

i have checked and confirmed that the stabilizers' housings are secured properly (they don't move or cause rattling; band-air mod also helps in this part).

the outcomes are ok, but still not as good as varmilo's. i'm beginning to think that it's the stabilizers (still using stock stabilizers, china-made) when i touched these stabilizer stems and move them left and right with a finger, i feel that they wobble very easily (varmilo's only move a little)

maybe will try to add lubed tapes on both sides of these stems to see if it can help.
