hi guys, new to the mkb community, recently got interested in customizing my keyboard and have been looking for keys to buy but they're so pricey! Anyway was wondering if there were any local keycap sellers around here?
Mainly I'm looking for colorful modifier keys for standard 60% in DSA profile (currently rocking an Anne Pro, waiting for my DSA Dolch to arrive from Banggood). For the legends, should have the same font as DSA Dolch or non-fancy symbols. Anybody where I can get keycaps besides aliexpress?
EDIT: Also, I don't mind 2nd hand if they are in good condition and not damaged

thanks for the welcome! will definitely check out the links you gave. zfrontier caps are so nice but definitely out of my budget at the moment haha QUOTE hi, welcome. you can join the fb page of mech market for few new and used but nice sets, https://www.facebook.com/groups/MYMECHMARKET/ (also, you should join mymkb fb page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/MalaysiaMechanicalKeyboard/ you can learn more from sifus that are active there) usually the better places to get affordable key cap sets are from aliexpress and taobao. for really nice sets, zfrontier.com is one.

QUOTE(quadcube @ Jan 2 2018, 11:54 PM) dolch good taste! I think you will have more luck finding them on taobao thanks man! i wanna put RGBY colored modifiers with the Dolch SA but haven't been able to find affordable versions of the keys. This would look sweet but $30 just for modifiers ($50 with shipping haha) is a bit pricey: https://cdn6.bigcommerce.com/s-ktpi93fl/pro...80.1280.jpg?c=2so right now i'm looking out for alternatives

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy some DSA profile keycaps to fill up a board.
I don't care about the legends or colors of the caps, but blanks and symbols preferred.
I need the following sizes: 6x 1.25u 2x 1.5u 2x 1u
I was thinking RM4 a cap, but price negotiable. I'm looking for stuff you guys want to get rid of, nothing premium as it's not a premium board, thanks!

QUOTE(TankerGadget Store @ Feb 8 2018, 08:31 PM) any affordable keyboard for mac to recommend ? must comes with light and sound control ... bought lofree and sucks ... to the max is this the one with the typewriter-like keycaps? man, i tried it at the store a few months ago, holy shit they were so difficult to type on. I'm not sure if it accurately depicts how typewriters are but I couldn't touchtype on that thing at all. something about the way the keycaps are shaped or laid out, it was difficult to tell where my fingers were when I was using it. Kept making mistakes typing on it. also, that hideous arrow key placement. wouldn't wish the board on my worst enemies. even standard layout membrane keyboards feel so much better to type on haha.

QUOTE(locksng12 @ Mar 7 2018, 02:33 AM) [attachmentid=9638174] Plugged in my Race 3 into my gaming desktop. Really trying to get used to DSA keycaps. Is it normal to have slower Words per Minute on this keyboard? you're probably not used to typing on DSA profile - I experienced that when I first got DSA keycaps too. on OEM profiles (usually the default keycaps from most keyboards) the elevation of the upper rows actually helps you place your fingers in the right spot even though you may not notice it previously. After using DSA for a while, you get more comfortable without having to rely on that and should be able to get back to your previous typing speed - at least that was my experience.
