I think its the tyres. I am also using CC6 now. Have to admit these set of tyres are comfortable and silent. However, when it comes to traction on wet roads, the condition is a bit tricky.

Grip is much lesser and drivers on CC6 MUST slow down on wet road / rain.

I've been driving the same car for 10 years and never had ABS activated before. On CC6, already twice it was activated.

But no doubt the CC6 tyre is the most silent and comfortable.

Since I don't drive fast, I guess my next set of tyre will be the UC6 which is a step up above CC6 while offering silent and comfort ride.

Even at 20 30kmph the best conti csc tyre lights up in rain. Think the uc6 won't help. Check ps4

But your CSC3 was already very old model. The later CSC5 was already much better not to mention the current CSC6, ECS, or even CPC6. But yes UC6 is a much lower class and not good.

i think you can see from the comments that the CC6 is comfortable and affordable but have a real issue of safety and aquaplaning. I believe the DNA of the tyres won't change much within the line up of the same brand.

Just stating other people's comment and my own experience. Better to go for other tyres such as PS4 if can afford a bit more. It's safer.

No, not really true. I have used CSC3, CSC5, and ECS and there were significant improvements on each release where ECS so far is IMHO the best performance tires in the wet even compared to PS4 (yes I have used PS3 and PS4 as well). Even CSC5 was about as good as PS4 already or very close, which was a big improvement over the old CSC3. As for the CC line up, yes they're rubbish, I have used once before too coz they came with an MPV I bought.

The problem is good performance tires like PS4 or ECS often not available in small sizes below 16', hence for those using those small sizes, there are much less choices.

an update from me as a user of CC6 move to Dunlop sport J5. On J5, the dry and weight traction is day and night on my Kancil. Never occurred aqua planning during this raining season. As for the comfort level, I didn't notice any noise decible differences, the ride is a tad bit bumpy than CC6 on big bump but on normal flat road the differences can be dismiss. So my humble opinion is stay away from CC6 if you driving light weighted car.

Recently replaced my XM2 with CC6. CC6 was quiet, also because it was new, compared to the season XM2. But I noticed a serious issue while driving on highway. At 80km/h was still fine, as I go higher, I thought I was getting hit by crosswind. The grip was problematic at that speed. There were dry and damp area throughout, but I never felt that on my XM2, even when it was already seasoned.

Not recommended for people that travel a lot on that speed range.

CC6 is actually an uncle tyre. Suitable for uncle who love comfort, quiet and don't drive fast.

Opt for at least UC6 for better grip while still maintain quiet.

Just wanna say I aquaplane alot on wet roads, have to go slow during rain unlike my previous goodyear tyre. I am a fast driver.

If you're the chill type this tyre is for you. My ride has less fun now.

One year review I guess

How about comparison with toyo proxes cr1? It was advertised as comfort tyre as well but is it better than cc6 for comfort?

If my only concern is comfort and keeping the noise as low as possible, and I'm willing to spend a bit more, what tyres will you guys recommend?

What's your tyre size? Without this every1 shooting blind and some tyre range may not have your size.
