It was on auction, starting price at $1. Now bid is at $280 and will go up. Closing is 16th Mac. Just wanna know roughly what price a Merida Carbon is worth.

Hello & shalom Shredmasters

I got 2 days in Bali in 3 weeks' time - apart from bringing along my trailbike, I haven't really got a solid ride plan but thinking of doing one of the enduro tours and a day in the bikepark. What tour/ride that you would recommend? Should I do 2 days of long rides and skip the bikepark? Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks!

Hi boys,

I know that most tubeless setups are done usually done this way;

1. Presta-only RIM
2. Presta valve
3. Rim tape
4. Sealant in the tire before inflation

user posted image

However my dilemma is my Rubar wheelset is a Schrader only fitting.... according to LBS they aren't able to convert to run tubeless so I did some reading. Solutions are as follow;

1. Drill a hole enough for presta valve and tape up the rim with rim tape
2. Tape up rim with rim tape and cucuk small hole for presta valve (Might leak?)
3. OR. Tape up rim with rim tape, cucuk small hole enough for schrader valve (Yes. The ones use on motorbikes and cars which are sold in motorbike/car shops)

Has anybody run solution no.3 above before and has any advise on the whole scenario?

PS - Am still a 26" rider... not willing to spend extra extra $$$ on a 26" presta wheelset

is your rim intended to use tubeless?not all rims are tubeless. even if you use a good rim tape, you might have leak for this

My friend was in the same situation as you. He bought a Schrader tubeless valve, and did the conversion himself. Worked ok for him so far.
