It's 3.5p.a.  Not per month.  Not sure about payout as I haven't have time to test it out.

The latest rate is 3.68% or 3.69% p.a. Do note however that the rate is not fixed or guaranteed. You will only know about it when they declare the distribution the following month.

FSM cash management fund 2,
how is the interest calculation?

let say we put RM10000, and the interest that day is 3.4%,
then the daily interest we earn is RM10000 * 3.4% / 365 ?

i have put some in it but the interest seems lower than that....

So,

GiA: 3.20% | no interest for early uplift | not covered by PIDM.

What's making anyone retain with GiA then? If not, what other FD instrument comparable to GiA that Maybank offers?

I heard that GIA cannot be uplifted before the month you opt for right?

What do you guys think is the best to park excess cash now? Still conventional FD or opt for GIA? Highest return to pro my excess cash. Don't need care PIDM protected etc.

no difference to efd anyway. i parked here just for sake of simplicity in managing the fund.

if want higher profit, choose other investment type. efd/egia would not be your preferred choice.

See my edited reply in ocbc thread with eg of calculations.
No lock in period. You can sell anytime you like. Not very sure about calculated daily as I am not exactly sure how they count.
