It's just a matter of time before the card's benefits gets nerfed. Same with the Spaylater thing, Shopee will stop giving 0% soon enough. Enjoy while it lasts.

yep, early birds gets the goodies early

no need to think so far. get whatever cards suitable for you now and maximize the return.

bank reduce/revise benefits, change find nearest alternatives. rinse and repeat.

for credit card i agree.

but not spaylater as if you understand more,
they are actually making seller to bear all spaylater related fees.

What's the notable differences between Petronas Ikhwan Gold & Platinum apart from income requirements? Browsing the web but didn't find any notable differences.

Yes and sellers are making noises. It came out in the news the other day. I am surprised cause 0% QR payment seems to work everywhere without fail - HeroMarket, 99 SM, KK Mart, TCR, Dominos, F2F. It even works at the toufufa seller in pasar malam, and the roadside stalls selling karipap and cakoi. I don't think sellers can choose to reject Spaylater since it works with all corporate QR.

Last time Spaylater charged 1.5% (upfront) from 2022 to Jan 2024, I used Amex-i (8% CB) still net around 6.5% savings, instead of using M2 Amex (5% weekend CB).
(Also Shopee was giving 300 coins per Spaylater RM40, 1x daily)

1.5% charge was waived since Jan 2024, then most of you joined in to use Spaylater (after Lazada stopped selling TNG PIN). I don't expect Sea Money to absorb the Amex charge for long and Seamoney may transfer BNPL to Ryx Bank.

My Ikhwan cash back was miscalculated again. I made a report and they paid up the balance cash back of rm27.
