talking bout below ambient WC setups
ive jes recently learned that processor's performance characteristic change with temperature

all this while i thot WC are used to decrease the temp
but infact...it does help increase the performance range of the processor

is there anybody who can help elaborate more on this topic wink.gif

i know the principle behind superconductors
but i was wondering does the decrease in temp actually follows the
superconductor performance level
meaning to say...resistance *generally* decrease with decrease of temperature?

Guys I need some suggestions. I have budget about RM400 and want to get coolers for CPU and GPU, do u think any WC setup can do better than air cooling with this budget? Budget like this can get Sunbeam CCF and Accelero Twin Turbo already.

Greetings to everyone laugh.gif . Im kinda new into watercooling so i seek advice n suggestions from u guys. Currently im using xigmatek s1283 n oc'ed my proc to 3.8 with 1.35 vcore set, getting idle/load of 42/58. My hands r getting itchy n wanting to try wc just for the sake of trying. Im planning on getting the swiftech H2O-120 compact kit but afraid it wont be much diff from my current temps. Custom wc is tempting but my casing(cm690) is just too small to fit anymore hardwares as im running sli already. Since the compact kit is pump+block and reservoir+rad so space needed is much less plus i might add a double rad to enchance cooling since single rad in my opinion is not really efficient. Just wanna get some feed back from u guys n hope ull be able to give ur opinion on my plans. Btw has anyone personally used this kit?

-the block is prone to leaking due to the gasket used. check google and swiftech forums.

-the block vibrates like a dildo at overvolted specifications

here is an example how u can stuff in a setup and "the cm690 is small because i have sli/crossfire" is not true.

potong la, the top panel will fit a triple rad with a sacrifice of the top part USB ports, and with a little modding, and the rad shown in pic is a dual, not a triple

u need the radiator to be upright as it has a built in radiator, note the little screw cap at the back, its a pain in the ass to fill though

nice setup but sure would deserve a much better pump though. The gravitational resistance is making that puny P2800 work pretty hard

Bro almostthere, any pump which is less costly then D5/DDC but more powerful then Nirox?Something cheap, won't mind ac power

guys... i know its the wrong section so sorry lar... my question... instead of using watercooling.... have any1 tried chilled air cooling??? using a custom made refrigeration system to cool the components inside a sealed case(aquarium)... haha wont this better than lots of things? lik LN, dice and cascade are not convenient to be used 24/7... but a properly setup refrigeration system would be trouble free.... all u have to worry is condensation.... which can be overcome by using lots and lots of silicate inside the cassse. what do u guys think...

Nirox P3800 modded should do the trick

The problem with chilled air is the issue of condensation which leads to insulation work which is messy, hard to reverse, and if anything kaputs...a whole crap of warranty claim issues. Someone tried that before but ended up having too much hassle he just sold it all away
