guys... i know its the wrong section so sorry lar... my question... instead of using watercooling.... have any1 tried chilled air cooling??? using a custom made refrigeration system to cool the components inside a sealed case(aquarium)... haha wont this better than lots of things? lik LN, dice and cascade are not convenient to be used 24/7... but a properly setup refrigeration system would be trouble free.... all u have to worry is condensation.... which can be overcome by using lots and lots of silicate inside the cassse. what do u guys think...

TEC ah... welll since TEC are inefficient... y dont use the exact same concept like a fridge... easier... that way.... u can cool down all the components at the same time...
bro almostthere... yes condensation is a problem... well like i say... MAYBE we can use a lot of silicate to absorb as much moisture as we can... i think if we drop the temp to slightly below room temp( like using air conditioner) we might be able to not get condensation... temp toooo low will cause condensation immediately... correct me if i am wrong... hehe |

lol... i didnt have the chance to do that experiment it looks fun... with the phase change unit cooling down the air blowing towards us.... haha... i was forced to do the Vapour Tank experiment...very hot and a long experiment... well bro.... condensation happens at in a cold room due to humidity...reduce humidity and u will have less chances of condensation...

yea... thats y should build this sort of thing in a air tight casing.... make sure minimum or not air leaking into the case at all.... this would make sure best temperature with a minimum amount of humidity.... therefore less condensation.... hmmmm... if only i have the money now to start this sort of project.... hehe..... (i am thinking toooo much ad

ermmm bro... i am not saying placing a peltier directly on the cpu like what arj did.... but more to air conditioning the whole pc.... its like using mineral oil with the pc in a tank... minus the oil.... removes hot spots slightly better than normal air cooling since it is in a low ambient temp....

Maybe u should drop the rad... and get an array of peltiers.... hehe and get a rheostat to control them.
