Greetings to everyone laugh.gif . Im kinda new into watercooling so i seek advice n suggestions from u guys. Currently im using xigmatek s1283 n oc'ed my proc to 3.8 with 1.35 vcore set, getting idle/load of 42/58. My hands r getting itchy n wanting to try wc just for the sake of trying. Im planning on getting the swiftech H2O-120 compact kit but afraid it wont be much diff from my current temps. Custom wc is tempting but my casing(cm690) is just too small to fit anymore hardwares as im running sli already. Since the compact kit is pump+block and reservoir+rad so space needed is much less plus i might add a double rad to enchance cooling since single rad in my opinion is not really efficient. Just wanna get some feed back from u guys n hope ull be able to give ur opinion on my plans. Btw has anyone personally used this kit?

-the block is prone to leaking due to the gasket used. check google and swiftech forums.

-the block vibrates like a dildo at overvolted specifications
here is an example how u can stuff in a setup and "the cm690 is small because i have sli/crossfire" is not true.

figure out a way to stuff it in. that is were the fun is wink.gif

Oh i see. Ive read bout the vibrations from newegg from customer comments. Here a pic, guess ill have to crack my skull to figure outa place for rads.

I did mod my top panel to fit a 120x3 radgrillz for 3 fan. Pump, reservoir . . . hmm.gif . Maybe can refer to u for help, hehe. laugh.gif

hmm.. custom make one la... haha.. im using a custom electronic flow indicator... why do you need a flow indicator anyway?...
*
I was thinking of a custom, but just could think how to make 1 hmm.gif , not that creative, shakehead.gif haha. Urs is custom made by u or purchased from a shop? Can provide place/link etc. The prob is i cant see the waterflow except if theres bubbles, my res is black in colour. So its hard to tell if the pump is running or isnt. laugh.gif
Here's a pic

i custom made mine... i get a flow switch from electronic shop and soldered the electronics onto a circuit board myself.... its connected to a blue LED and red LED.. when water is flowing the blue LED lights when the pump stop flowing the red LED lights up... but its not necessary i made it for bling bling purpose ... haha.. cuz the computer will auto shut down when temperature is too high...

oh, thats nice rclxms.gif the flow switch is from electronic shop izzit, hmm.gif looks like ill go hunting then.

its meant for heater + pumps that u use in ur bathroom... when u turn off the water the pump and heater stops to prevent overheating and damage... i took my flow indicator out from my WC dunno how it spoiled...

oh k, that gave me a clearer picture of it . . . seem troublesome though, too bad cant get those flow ind like xspc etc, simple n nice. The only available is tt which look like a blue water drop aka a smack of crap.

oh that... that type of flow indicator may restrict ur flow and also expensive...
*
oh . . . nvr thought of that shakehead.gif . Expensive ya it is, thats why a custom made is a good option, lack of resources though . . . not to mention ideas. doh.gif

My 1st WC set-up . . . ran succesfully rclxm9.gif , no leaks and very happy with it. These are the temps i obtain with it, soo much cooler cool2.gif compared to my hdt s1283 laugh.gif . But the vcore when i took is lower compared to normal, bios is set to 1.45V, vdroop 1.416V.

This is for my air cooling, totally diff clocks and the TJmax is 105C (didnt knew it was 100C tongue.gif )
