my uni has a cnc machine i can use
milling...lathe.....edm and even mazark~
hehe

but u'd need a g-code programming to carry out the instructions to machine

actually....conventional milling is already enuff to produce a waterblock
foundries usually offer these services
jes give them a dimension and some spec
but it's best if u do it urself to ensure u get the quality u want

talking bout below ambient WC setups
ive jes recently learned that processor's performance characteristic change with temperature

all this while i thot WC are used to decrease the temp
but infact...it does help increase the performance range of the processor

is there anybody who can help elaborate more on this topic wink.gif

i know the principle behind superconductors
but i was wondering does the decrease in temp actually follows the
superconductor performance level
meaning to say...resistance *generally* decrease with decrease of temperature?

QUOTE(lichyetan @ May 20 2009, 07:14 PM)
i owez cut it loose... lol.. and use new tubings...

7/16 hard to reuse unless ure on chrome barb, plastic barb the only option is cut... chrome barb = pull it by force... make sure retighten the barb b4 reinsert or setup ur tubings...

tough spot there
that leaves the conventional 1/2 or 3/8 then

I remembered there was this one time me and my room mate
We were playing NSF Most Wanted on his Toshiba laptop
I put a bag of ice underneath his CM Notepal (full alu) cause it was lagging
And after that, the game actually improved~

My point here is ghetto mods are always welcomed thumbup.gif

#PS: Note that if you guys are wondering, we did have to change the ice pack constantly, over and over. But it was fun while it lasted tongue.gif #

I've been thinking of using food coloring
Any comment?

Yet to see any review on it
It'd be great to see if anybody can come out with one
Would like to see the effect of cyclic thermal loading
