Is it worth it tho? I read current state for CFX/SLI support is not good. Better go for a more powerful single card.AMD Radeon™ Discussion V15, Radeon Software 20.10.1

Wanna know something depressing? Powercolor RX 470 4GB Red Dragon was sold for RM899 before mining craze near the end of 2016
Vega is a hot card, a blower cooler is better to keep your case temps down. |

Vega is a hot card, a blower cooler is better to keep your case temps down. My PC case ventilation is not good.. that's why I seek blower type of GC. The red devil or strix GC heat transfer is good but for a poorly ventilated pc case , these cards will build up more heats in the case. The MSI Rx Vega 64 air boost is still farking expensive. |

Dual gpu is not really worth it, unless you're dead sure the game you gonna play support it fully. Also with the invention of Vulkan you probably don't need the secondary gpu anymore. If the game are highly optimised as Doom 2016 or, Wolfenstein the colossus, it will run silky smooth above 1440p. |

I force the fan to run at 2800rpm when gaming. Temps usually never exceed 72C. My 56 is flashed with 64 VBIOS with HBM clocked at 1GHz with 56 powerplay table. Voltage locked at 950mV or 1V. Core clock averaging around 1500-1550MHz.Gonna mod an Aio cooler for it. If you want to run AIO make sure the VRM is cooled too. |

I've been running it for a years without any mods, my poor Sammy 960 evo is just right below it everyday cooking lol If you want to run AIO make sure the VRM is cooled too. I have a spare Fractal Design Celsius 360 unused, currently still on dilemma on whether going ekwb/swiftech or just mod a cooler... By the time I build one Navi 7nm probably out already |

QUOTE(yhsiau @ Sep 29 2018, 04:06 PM) Tri-fans card fan speed will getting noisy too(speed increased) once the heats in the case already built up. Still better than blower type in terms of noiseUnless you are using the monster size full tower case like obsidian 1000. FYI, I m using old corsair's carbide 500 case only. |

QUOTE(1024kbps @ Sep 29 2018, 10:16 PM) I rather have better custom cooler, the stock heatsink really sucks, AMD need to improve their stock cooler. Stock cooler is fine, the only thing that sucks is how AMD binned their GPU. It used way too much voltage, a simple undervolting to make the cooler cope with the heat produced. Another problem is AMD set the blower fan too low; idle 400RPM (barely any airflow) and at load only 2400RPM (but it rarely reach this). It needs around 2500RPM to expel heat efficiently under loadFor custom heatsink that dumps hot air inside case, a side panel exhaust will slove the problen. 2x 120mm fan would suffice. Problem with modern case it full of tempered glass side panel, no place for side panel fan. Its all about the bling and not cooling |
