Lmao. Less than 20% RT compare to 4080 for RM 1K less. Good enough. Many play games w/o RT anyway.
Linux out of the box performance is great too.

But the power consumption and thermal is slightly worst than 4080..not sure if long run will cost more than the 200 USD hmm.gif

They also have coil whine issue according to Gamer Nexus. Not sure if third party supplier can remedy these issues hmm.gif

It's "good" in relative to 4080 only. Both are overpriced as it is

Overprice compare to what? Current market price of previous gen?

Amd knew they cannot compete in performance that's why they came up with the much lower msrp as nvidia released their 4000 series way earlier.

Sadly for most of us, 7900XTX is not competitive enough to trigger nvidia to drop prices sad.gif

If 4080 can go down to 1.1k then it'll be interesting rclxm9.gif

Well, at least for me now that wanting a graphic card for my new rig which sitting in my room. 7900xtx is still much appealing than 4080 no matter what. $1200 for 4080 is just too much and unreasonable.

Not much of choice if you want to have that same performance as 4080. Unless I want to go for 3090ti which is heavy power eater and rasterization performance is lower than 7900xtx. (Not interested in RT)

I guess I'm the only one who will be getting 7900xtx after all. tongue.gif

Pricing is one thing... the size of the damn thing is another. I don't want to change my case just to fit a damn GPU. My Meshify C is not really a tiny case. sigh...

yes... I was saying the Nvidia cards about the size thing.

*Anyway, need to see them partners card first... Noticed some of them 7900 cards to be 3 slots as well... hopefully it's not going to be as long and wide as these Nvidia's

U re wrong mate. I m waiting for the reviews before deciding. Thought of trying out Radeon GPUs this round. Cos the last time was the 6990. But the performance and the final local pricing will be the deciding factor. I would prefer a custom card.
Plus I would like to see some minor improvements on the custom cards over the reference design. And some kinks sorted out. Don't really understand why the memory runs at the max even when in media playback and in multi monitor.

I noticed in TPU reviews, both XTX and XT able boost to 2.9Ghz, maybe with moar powa limit and better cooler it could stay on higher boost clock.

I guess this is what they meant by architected for 3Ghz.

AMD knew that. That's why we get this type of pricing. 😄

Lazada/shoppee still don't have any sellers selling these two cards right?
