i bought a msi armor rx 570 4gb for 1/4 the price during it's height, from a miner, yesterday.
82.9% asic means i could overclock it to 1400Mhz and undervolt to 1020mV. stock was 1150mV because stock oc version.
i had a sapphire pulse rx560 previously and it was 56% asic. 1400 required 1110mV and it runs hot at that because crap hsf.
i didn't even bother putting it in my seasonic psu machine and just use fsp hexa 400w with 6pin power. the card has 8pin power.
gpuz says it's pulling 120W. didn't test with my watt meter yet.
samsung ram means i can oc from 1750MHz all the way to 2200MHz. based. 2250 definitely crashed.

the thing is. i only played ffxii in the last 12 months. can't get max settings at 60fps. needs ao down to 1/2 res, aa off, fxaa post aa, shadow mid.
my 1060 3gb can with msaa 4x, everything max and 75% gpu load.
the city state of square enix. reeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
i paid way less than this.

Interesting, in guru3d blender the rtx 3000 series is so much faster but in linus's it's around the same ballpark. Although no idea why guru3d is using the older blender version and not the newer 2.90. I just checked mine seems like pascal optix support is experimental. Seems like the optix in blender really uses the rt cores on rtx cards, while radeon only can use the opencl route.

RX 6500 XT unofficial name would be WTF AMD edition.
Even GTX 1660 make more sense than this card.

Once GPU price goes down, this card is as good as paperweight. Can't even use for HTPC since it doesn't have encoder for most format.
