RM 80 or lower, depends on your cost. If the ride is RM 75, they reimburse RM 75. If it is RM 90, they reimburse RM 80.

its automatically done or we need to call scb to inform them we did the ride and therefore expect reimbursement?

Automatically done so long you fulfill the requirements i.e. spend 3x in overseas within the same month of travel (take note for cross months cases) and choose the correct rides to take.

Don’t think there’s any restrictions as long the taxi is booked and paid at the counter in the airport. Tried a few different booth and no issue at all.

As long not grab / touts 😂

So far don’t find it an issue as SCB is quite generous by allowing both mcc for those at kiosk and counter... finding the one that accepts cc for Tng reload is the challenge 😂

Tnc:

Petrol spend
Petrol spend is define as transaction with MCC of 5541 & 5542

Just get to know that Jompay not calculating into minimum retail spend for Liverpool FC card. No wonder only get Rm25 cashback this month . Sigh

https://av.sc.com/my/content/docs/Notice-Re...s-exclusion.pdf

Can someone clarify according to links above is it other utility like paying Maxis TNB using their own app also not counting into minimum spend ?

Search "jompay"

-Jompay excluded as retail transaction.
-TNB app, maxis app payment are retail transaction.

considering the ADB amount is earmarked for the 6months (eligibility of the promo) and assuming one is @ the 2.5k limit (15%)

RM20k -> (60 * 6) = RM360 = 3.6% p.a.

RM50k -> (120 * 6) = RM720 = 2.88% p.a.

Conclusion - HLB FD better (not many other banks actually give rates more than 3.5) and only 20k is worth it

Edit - forgot to check the My Dream account. 0.3% p.a. .. so in a way it (20k) is better than FD..
