QUOTE(Cookie101 @ Jul 4 2019, 07:43 AM) Decimal points? Lol But yes. You’re about there. Aeon is on FCFS which is rather annoying and most of the time not getting it so terminates that card already. Prefer something that’s confirm. UOB YOLO also FCFS and that card is pretty famous over this forum.

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jul 4 2019, 10:13 AM) OK, now i'm blurred ... Before 1st July, we just need to spend within month to get RM85 max once we hit RM2,500 (15%) Right now, for July portion (August return), when is the period that we need to spend after having this CLAUSE 3: Does it mean that we need to spend before 8th July 2019? And July portion actually only has 1 week utilisation ? July RM60 = 1st July ~ 7th July August RM60 = 8th July ~ 7th August September RM60 = 8th August ~ 8th Sept Please correct me if i'm wrong Transaction date and posting date are two separate things.

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jul 4 2019, 10:24 AM) Meaning anything for MONTH OF JULY transactions must be appear before 7th August for them to calculate, right ? Yes but SC didn't clearly define the cut-off date/day for first week of the following month.

It's just roughly the same concept as MBB. If you afraid that the posting will be late, just avoid spending at the very month end. SCB better than MBB as it has additional 1 week buffer for the cash back calculation.

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jul 4 2019, 10:43 AM) Sounds like June portion (RM85) can till this end of week. My autobilling for Insurance might kicks in between tomorrow till next monday so i was worried just now XD I have no faith of easily getting AF waiver for JOP and LFC. Thus, I won't be tying my auto-debit to this card; given the chance of I will cancel them in the event of AF waiver rejection. This post has been edited by CardNoob: Jul 4 2019, 10:45 AM

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Jul 5 2019, 10:42 AM) We were going around advising people better to avoid any transaction towards the end of the month, not 1st week of the month. Nevermind, you do you. What the heck is he trying to say? Why have to avoid early month swipes? QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 5 2019, 10:43 AM) there is a loop hole here, transaction date must be posted on the first week of the following month, so it's 1st day of the week or 7th day of the week? what if i make a transaction on 1st July 2019 and posted on 2nd July 2019? Will it counted into June 2019 CB or July 2019?i always make the transaction on last week of the month and get consistent CB on 2nd or 3rd week of the following month Is that goes into July 2019 since transaction date falls on July 1st? QUOTE(wym6977 @ Jul 5 2019, 11:25 AM) So if the posting is over 1st week of following month, this transaction is considered "burn" or will carry forward to following month? They didn't say but very likely "burn".

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Jul 5 2019, 11:31 AM) I think it will be counted as next month's spending, but need to confirm with CS. Cannot be. 3. Transactions must be posted within the first week of the following month to be eligible for meeting the minimum spend stated in Clause 1 above. Please note that transactions may be posted late by the merchant. The Bank will not be held responsible for late posting. QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 5 2019, 11:29 AM) that's why they only calculate based on posted date basically if you spend and posted on 1st week of the month, they will have a hard work to calculate everyone CB and thus the only way to save their time is to calculate based on posted date based on 8th current month ~ 7th following month, you all can start to believe what their TnC terms of calendar month is 1st to last day of the month but my advise is avoid spending on the 1st week, that's all i can advise here Hello brother, There're Automation and Excel. You think still need to use manual ledger. This post has been edited by CardNoob: Jul 5 2019, 11:33 AM
