Thank you so much for your info!
HLB Wise might have better rates, but the annual fee can't be waived (saw other's comment on that in HLB credit card forum). Hence wise make SC Just One more worth it?

They can grant AF waiver even if we don't utilize the card?

Planning to get the card just for the points and no intention on spending with the card..

If you want to be cruel, get the points and cancel the card. rolleyes.gif
My sister hasn't been spending on her SCB Gold, maybe just once a year or something and yet she hasn't been paying any AF since she applied, I think 2010 or something.

I also seldom utilize on their Card they also grant Waiver for Me.

At least now We know it Auto Fee waiverable for the 1st Year on the Card. No worries on AF. After you receive AA 25,000 pts baru u cancel your CC...

I think if customer service can waive AF on my card every year without me spending much/none, then I might just keep it in case there are promotions with the card. Also I thought if I cancel the card I may have a lower chance of getting any SC cards approved in the future..

Btw, for all credit cards, annual fee is charged at the end of the year (dec) or the 12th month from the date of card approval?

Based on your approval date. 12 months from that date.

Can't decide between Cashback Gold or JustOnePlatinum to get the Air Asia Big 25K points ;P

For JustonePlatinum, if I purchase an item more than RM2.5K via online, I can get back RM85 cashback right?

Due to 0% BT from Maybank, I rounded up the figure and BT-ed more than the outstanding amount, at the same time I have some cash back in my SCB Gold.

Long story short, now I have a credit of RM 140 and I would like to spend around RM 800 this month, will it offset my credit and treat my spending as only RM 660 and causes me unable to get cash back of at least RM 25? unsure.gif I will of course spend until RM 833 for RM 25 cash back.

I will appreciate some advice regarding this. notworthy.gif

All Depends on your spending Pattern... nod.gif

SCB CB Gold more like General Usage (atau dan lain2) or for emergencies use CC ie, HLB Essential, Alliance You:nique... Which give you extra benefits or CB that your Daily use CC don't have

SCB Just One Plat. something that offers extra benefits based on your lifestyle and spending habits for daily use (Petrol, Utilities...) or a Card served with certain Purpose, Similar Like: Citibank CB, UOB One or HLB Wise

Shouldn't be an issue. I normally spend 1.5K on the card but with the RM 50 rebate redeemed, outstanding is less than 1.5K and I still receive the RM 50 rebate the following month.
