No woh. These are normally asked to verify that I'm me only. Checked my phone before I responded to you earlier, no calls at all from 03-86xxxxxx at all. Only calls from 03-7665xxxx.

Your application hasn't move to next stage is it?
PS staff told me that I'll be getting a call from SC for verification purpose.

JOP on hand already, application processed on Jan 2. Now Liverpool. JOP didn't went through all this woh. Liverpool process today, also didn't tell me someone will be calling.

I didn't apply Liverpool instantly because of the new T&C. Since everyone (who hasn't apply) also wondering, I made myself the guinea pig see can getaway with the $175 or not. I have enough data to substantiate, but bank entertain or not will be a different story altogether. Someone I befriended here say very easy to get waiver, so we'll see.

Maybe your financial credential is fantastic and they love you so much!
Maybe my credential is fishy triggering them to call me for extra verification process.

But not to worry - everyone has a bank that somehow "dislike" them. I've two.

Oh yeah, speaking of the verification. I thought they could've checked CCRIS instead of asking you. And I just recalled, a couple of other banks did ask if I've loan from unlicensed financial institution (or something like that). HSBC was one, another one I don't remember which. Maybe Citibank.

I don't think I have received such call from SCB before. They only called to verify my details and confirm if I have applied the cards.

Share some my experience on card application. I send all document to PS but they no reply for few weeks. At the end, they tell me if file size > 5mb then might not able to receive and ask me to resend.

Yes. Their mail server is stupid one!
After I sent them the documents, I gave them a call to confirm if they did receive the documents.

I didnt make the call so there is no feedback about this for few weeks. They should state this earlier!

How I know this?
Because from my first application of JOP few months back, the PS staff told me that he didn't receive my email.
Then he asked me how big is my attachment.
He asked to split into several emails.

I thought all applications are through their website?

I only sent 1 photo of IC and 1 photo of payslip

We applied through 3rd party: RP, CH and PS.

Oic, what docs were needed?

I suspect the one I sent not sufficient

We have to fill the manual application form with signature needed at certain pages.

I have a house loan but most of my card still good to get, hmm ..

The only time i get rejected by SC JOP last year first apply is because my data in their server is outdated.
I had gone tru several CS just to make the update

Total three CS and first 2 didn't even notice until the last guy.

Received email from SC with subject Welcome to Standard Chartered eStatement. Does this mean application approved? Never receive any verification calls or SMS from SC.

Submitted application on last Friday (11/1) evening, probably process on Monday, today received this.

Access to e-statement.
Obviously it's approved.
Otherwise, why they want to create an account to the banking portal?

Yeap its approved, sooner later should receive sms informing your application is success. I've reported similar few pages back.

For some reason, you get the approval SMS last and your Poslaju tracking days after you receive the card.
