just got my JOP approved and spend. get charged of SST RM25. called to CS and was told cannot get cashback for the SST at all for New-to-Bank customer. Has anyone successful get the cashback the SST (new to bank) ?

My SCB cards will reach their anniversary in July and AF/SST will appear in August statement. So, if they are not waiving my AF because I didn't spend enough lol, I have to cancel all their cards. That's why I can't shift my insurance auto-billing to JOP yet. To avoid the hassle of changing cards if my JOP is eventually cancelled.

For July and August, if I just spend 1.5k on online transactions, I will get RM 28 right? That's the max I can get with the most minimum spending, correct?

just called to cancel my SCB WM as the CS only give annual fee waiver but doesn't want to reimburse for the CST.

JOP and LVP also doesn't want to help with giving cashback for CST.

Just realised SST was charged for all my 3 cards on 14th July. So, I guess next one will be AF. Gotta cancel ASAP. Not sure in this case I will still need to pay for the SST.

This is the problem. They don't waive SST unless you say you wanna cancel your card then they might retain you.

I had the old platinum which I memang decide to cancel, call to cancel when AF is in. No call to retain me

Noticed in CCRIS, SCB only list 1 facility/card although I have 2 cards, whereas other banks listed all cards.

First time must register at the kiosk which is at BNM/AKPK. I got mine from BNM. Then, after registration using fingerprint, can use online to login and check anytime you like.

I'm chatting with live CS and I asked if I can get a SST rebate for all my cards, else I will cancel all the cards.

After checking, she replied I'm entitled for a "waiver" (her exact word) for all my three cards with just 3x spending for each card. Gladly accepted! I will need to call back after I have done that and she said she has put a remark for my account. Just for record purpose, I will screenshot the conversation for evidence.

As for AF, until it is charged, I will need to check again. Should be positive, fingers crossed.
