Yes got people saying able to waive AF and SST. You can call up SC to tell them you want to cancel all your credit cards, you sure can get counter offer. I do that on yearly basic. Lol

Well it is offered given by SC to existing cardholder. Usually new cardholder, got free gifts/rebates which more than RM25 value, won't get such offer but you can call up to appeal.

You never get SST rebate before? Try this way it work for me 100%. Call up SC then tell them you wanna cancel all your SC cards. Someone will follow up and offer you.

Well I'm fine if SC accept my cancellation since I always pay everything before cancel.

I did it yearly. Once they charge you, very hard to get waiver of any fee in full.

I hold the same card as you but worldmile card not longer active since last year. Can reapply since can't really travel oversea nowadays.

See how SC call you back and counter offer. Usually my one yet to charge but I cancel straight.

Yes I did once two months ago when I forgot to pay. Late few days after due. Total charge around RM80. Called up the CS n told him that I admitted I forget to pay n never later but only this time. The CS very kind to suggested me put the reason that payment thru online was failed. He can't promise me that it would be successfully waived n depend on the management. After few days later, all charges reversed.

If only Annual Fee waive, then not really helpful. Lol

Save my time, just cancel all my SC cc. If no further offer then I'm fine too. Haha.....

Usually new card some with some free gift offer. Therefore no SST rebate. If you apply the new card without any offer then too bad because you accepted whatever "offer" it gave.

Another option. Try to call the card, retention officer may call you up to ask reason and told them. Usually easy to increase credit limit unless you got so much commitment then that will become another story.

So now SC can't call in to cancel anymore? This round I really want to cancel because really not much use especially they change the JOP cashback condition. Spent close to RM4k but only got RM28. Don't wanna keep track of each group of spending categories.

If wanna pay AF, why you accept the offer?

CS usually will waive Annual Fee but waiver of service tax could be difference.

I since day one till now every year AF waived and SST rebate given because every year I also "pre-cancelled" all my SCB cards before being charged. Lol..... this year I think I just terminated all because cashback less besides not much usage. Only reapply in future.

since no point to keep the card/s, you can write these reasons in the box. I will do the same too since less usage to hit those cashback after their new formula implemented.
