If CS knows your CVV (I am assuming you are talking about the 3 digits CVV), then your card is already compromised.

Has anyone been using SCB CC for Uber rides?

If so, have you gotten the 20% rebates?

Great, I didn't know it has fixed fares now. One of the reasons I don't use Uber is because it has no fixed rate like Grab. biggrin.gif
Now hopefully I will be approved by SCB, I had their card 3 years ago.

Introduced fixed fares last week I think.

I signed up to scb primarily for the RM300 acquisition offer that ended in Sept. But quite happy with it so far for online spend when I've exhausted my higher CB cards.

My worldmiles is one year next month. Just called to terminate, and the CS say they can waive. But i'll need to wait for it to appear in the statement and then call to ask for AF waiver. Is this how it works normally?

Other SCB Yes but No idea with World miles CC
last times they stated in T&C need RM100k Accumulate Spending p.a to get AF Waiver... hmm.gif

https://www.sc.com/global/av/my-worldmiles-...rms-jun2016.pdf
Fees and charges...
You must pay the annual Miles Membership Fee of RM636 (inclusive of 6% GST) for principal cardholders, which will take effect from March 2017.
The annual Membership fee will be waived if you spend at least RM100,000 per annum on the WorldMiles Card in the previous year.

Nothing special at all - just marketing marketing marketing.

As a general rule, better to stick to those agents you know and trust. I prefer to see mine face to face, rather than agreeing anything on the phone. These people are marketers with a goal to sell as many and as fast as possible.

I always tell them I'm not interested.

Anyone knows if scb charges cross border fee for expedia malaysia for oversea trips? I'm thinking to use just one card for the online purchase to max the cash back.

I think scb may charge the fee. sad.gif
