Lucky me! Paid with Just One Platinum CC for PosOnline and thought it is a gone case since the CB excludes government transaction. End up still receive the CB in full! I spent RM1k+ on flight booking and petrol and RM1.5k on PosOnline (payment to Aeon CC - back in Nov 2016). Sadly this is the first and last time getting CB for PosOnline!

Last time no one called me for about 3 days, so I called THEM to follow-up. Half an hour after my call, someone called me and e-mailed me with a list of documents. The process after that was very fast.

Better you follow-up rather than wait.

Last time, I called CS, gave them my application number, and shortly after, got a call from Price Solutions (the CC marketing arm of SCB) and an e-mail asking for documents. It was SO FAST after that.

For me, I just want things to be done ASAP rather than waiting indefinitely for someone to handle my case.

Asked me to try again in 3 months, I kinda expected it because my CCRIS was affected by PTPTN earlier. laugh.gif

First card is always the toughest.

If you really want a first card and want to "test" if there are problems getting approved, I suggest you try first with your salary-paying bank.

Based on my experience, I had trouble getting my very first card (many many many years ago when I was young haha), even though my first salary in Malaysia was above RM5k and I had previous employment in other countries. My first successful CC application was thus from my salary-paying bank (Maybank), and they gave me a lousy credit limit (think it was just 1 month salary!). Gradually, once I started to build up credit record and slowly apply for credit limit increases, banks became much more relaxed in approving my applications.

Good luck, and hope you eventually get approved smile.gif.

Some forumers said that if you having too many credit cards on hand,
it will show on CCRIS also and may affect new card application.
And 1 reason is existing credit limit too high also affect on new card application.

Is it correct?

Cause my SC Credit card approved but OCBC and HL CC being rejected...

Not sure but most of my cards were approved with no hassle despite I hold more than 10 at one time. smile.gif Just sometimes will be rejected, so appeal or re-apply next time if I really want to. Every bank has different assessment, so just be patient and don't be disappointed if you are rejected. smile.gif
