QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 5 2017, 02:44 PM) Last time no one called me for about 3 days, so I called THEM to follow-up. Half an hour after my call, someone called me and e-mailed me with a list of documents. The process after that was very fast. i text chat with sc via their website and the sc told me not to worries, thats all Better you follow-up rather than wait. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 5 2017, 03:39 PM) Last time, I called CS, gave them my application number, and shortly after, got a call from Price Solutions (the CC marketing arm of SCB) and an e-mail asking for documents. It was SO FAST after that. got reply from sc, unsucessful application, might because this is the first card I apply For me, I just want things to be done ASAP rather than waiting indefinitely for someone to handle my case. didnt even get any documents from me then kena reject already |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 5 2017, 05:32 PM) First card is always the toughest. yeah my previous application for alliance bank also due to lack of ccris record because it is my first time to register for ccIf you really want a first card and want to "test" if there are problems getting approved, I suggest you try first with your salary-paying bank. Based on my experience, I had trouble getting my very first card (many many many years ago when I was young haha), even though my first salary in Malaysia was above RM5k and I had previous employment in other countries. My first successful CC application was thus from my salary-paying bank (Maybank), and they gave me a lousy credit limit (think it was just 1 month salary!). Gradually, once I started to build up credit record and slowly apply for credit limit increases, banks became much more relaxed in approving my applications. Good luck, and hope you eventually get approved i'm now trying to apply for maybank which is also my salary payment bank, anyway thanks for your advice |
