Ooo she din plan to use the card anymore, and she din ask for waiver.
Just request to terminate only.
*
already stopped using since feb 2019, should've quickly terminate it, chances to get the af fully waived could be better.

af is payable by user. that's the T&C that the user signed & agreed during application.

whether 25%, 50%, or 100% af waier, it's up to bank's discretion to waive or give none at all.

this is one headache behavior on SCB's statement generation:

info from CS:

The statement date changes due to public holiday or if the date falls on a Saturday.
The system will not generate statement if it is on Saturday or public holiday.
The statement will be generated a day later due to this reasons.

need to be mindful if spending on statement date. doh.gif

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 8 2019, 04:36 PM)
continuing this observation.

actual statement date = 8th
(supposed) statement generation = 9th (and it's a public holiday = 9 Sep 2019)
today 8th (Sun), statement got generated 1 day early (cutoff 7th instead of 8th) since on 9th scb cannot generate statement (PH).

guess the system will push 1 day early as long as statement cycle/cutoff is not more than actual statement date.

My statement date is 9th, but this month SCB generate my statement on 8th (Saturday), it is not as per what CS advised u. Dunno what logic they give. For HSBC, I notice they will make sure the pyment due date is same every month, so my statement date will be 1 day early or later follow no. of day

odd indeed. laugh.gif

i have noticed this but dont care to find out why.

so i just make all payment latest by 18 days after statement date so i dont need to care about what is the statement deadline of every month.
*
not just statement payment.

it's the transaction that you make, e.g. 8 June and posted on 9 June. due to this behavior, this transaction get captured/statemented on 9 June (whereas you expect it to "flow" to 8 July statement instead) laugh.gif

SC always generate on the same date so far which is 9th for me and email receive on the same day or +1 day, even generated on Sunday (for June) as well.
*
read inside the recorded statement date, not the email/filename.

QUOTE(skty @ Jun 12 2019, 03:25 PM)
SCB only got transaction date, no posting date.
*
inside the statement

also, the posting date determines whether the transaction gets statement-ed or not.

you dont see it on the portal doesnt mean it's not recorded.

i think we are having the same statement date (9th) but seems for some months ur statement date was generated on different date with mine?

my actual statement date is 8th.

this month's was adjusted to 9th due to reasons given by CS earlier.

QUOTE(mamamia @ Jun 12 2019, 03:41 PM)

not accurate either laugh.gif

exactly on 9 June, it was displayed as 9 June statement date. but internally already adjusted to 9 June cutoff.

from 10 June, the display was readjusted back to 8 June statement date, but with same statement/PDF content. i was thinking perhaps they regenerated the statement content blink.gif

see mine below. displayed as 8 June biggrin.gif

most accurate, i think, is the pdf content; the summary of page 1.
