If you very sure everything is correct from your end, open a case with Std Charted to investigate. There were people who reported similar incidents before.

I am new to simply cash credit card. Would like to ask:

1. If I spend RM2000 on TnG ewallet top up, am I entitled to 2k * 0.5% = RM10 cash back? Does the 0.5% CB (max RM12.50) for spending below 2.5k has the cap amount on each category as well?

2. What is the statement date? Is it same for everyone?

3. The CB is based on transactions in the calendar month, not statement cycle month, right?

4. If the CB is not in multiple of RM30, any expiry date to those CB lesser than RM30?

5. Any charges imposed by this credit card on reload TnG?

6. Retail transactions: does it include ewallet top up?

TIA.

1. Yes, but there is also another condition where you specified in Question 4.

2. No, they have a range of dates.

3. Correct.

4. All Cashback must be redeemed prior to the points cancellation/ expiry date. The points cancellation/ expiry date will be shown in your monthly credit card statement.

5. No, but T@NGo imposes a 1% fee if you reload more than $1000 a month. If you reload $2000 straight instead of $1000+1000, T@NGo will charge you $20.

6. Yes. Only participating ewallets entitle for cashback. Non-participating ewallets can be used for filler spends only.

Anyone tried to pay with SC SimplyCash on Shell mobile App for petrol fueling?

Does it contribute to the cashback quota under Petrol category?

Ahh, finally... thanks bro

Anyway, I dont get any cashback... this is my first month though... normal? I even swipe 2400 at a dentist to help push over 2500.

Dentist, eye specialists etc are considered professional services which SC won’t honor on the rebates fulfillments, not even for spending filler.

I kena ady last year when i spent on eye specialists visit.
Clarified with SC CS and that’s what im informed.

Does google pay have any benefit? E.g. samsung pay can collect points which can redeem voucher or get discount on samsung product.

More toward convenience. No need to bring your wallet.

Not everyone is using Samsung phone.

I set the SC Simply card as one of the payment method.
When doing the pump oil, pick the SC and do the transaction.

3 cards = SC Simply , UOB One , Hong Leong Wise

I'm thinking of applying to SC credit card for the gift. Probably Standard Chartered Visa Platinum.

To SC card holders, may I know:
1. will SC call you to confirm your application (like Citibank and Aeon Credit did)? (Not convenient for me to take calls as I work night shift)
2. if approved, will the card be send my courier or normal mail? Do I need to be there in person to received the card?

Thanks in advance.

1. I applied via RP and just filled the application form at SCB website. Application submitted during Monday and received the approval sms during Wednesday. No one call me for verification those.
2. My one via Poslaju and post to my office. My colleague signed on behalf of me.
