The card was eventually cancelled today. A very long process I feel, where some banks can do it on the spot! Anyways, my thinking was, rather cancel it ASAP so that the 6 months countdown starts and I can churn another round (for a minimum reward of RM600), instead of waiting over 2.5 months for an RM100 reward. I got the same offer too a month back when I wanted to cancel my SCB credit card.

I've just received Summary of Year-End Statement & there is RM25 for Total Other Fees and Charges. Can this be waived too?

Submission of card cancellation takes even at least 7 days through the app. All good things must come to an end.
