Thanks for the updates! My Uber spending only started in Nov but good to know the cashback comes in quite quickly.

I use Uber a lot for company travel, so the extra 20% is an added bonus.

I have not receive any cashback for 5th October statement, I have spent over RM2500 for Just One Platinum card.

May I know if I landed klia2, possible to go klia by klia express and buy the limo taxi in order to enjoy the world miles card redemption. Klia2 doesn't have limo.

I haven't tried yet, so can't confirm from experience. However, pos online is MCC code 9402 which iss not in excluded list

If they don't ask for boarding pass, I don't see why you can't. Just spend RM 2 to go over to KLIA.

Which exit? You can easily go to KLIA Limo which everyone queues and buys taxi voucher.

No la, it is after immigration and after baggage collection. I always take from KLIA.

I think klia2 has this MESRA INDAH JAYA teksi which is entitle for the world miles card redemption. it is stated in SCB terms n condition as per below:-

. To qualify, the Principal Cardholders must:
a) Book the service with Airport Limousine Services or KLIA Ekspres (“Service Provider”) at
KLIA or KLIA 2 and charge the cost of Service to their WorldMiles Card, where the
transaction is posted on the Principal Cardholder’s card account statement as being
transacted as follows:
I. 4111 KLIA EKSPRESS & TRANSIT
II. 4111 KLIA EKSPRES & TRANSIT
III. 4111 AIRPORT LIMO
IV. 4121 AIRPORT LIMO
V. 4121 MESRA INDAH JAYA

......

I always do this for the Citibank free limo. Walk right though the sliding doors. It is after Immigration and Customs, so no issue. Sometimes there's a guard there, but just say buying limo ticket.

I think I mixed up with Citibank already lo. Thought just for KLIA.

same thing. and its not even my card.
what i did is i bring my bro in law card, go swipe 3x oversea. my plane arrive back in klia2.
i took train from klia2 to klia with just rm1 (that was the fee last time).

then go over to the arrival hall in klia. the guard ask, i said i forgot something and head back in. go in and go to the limo booth.
the redemption booth didn't check passport or anything.

SCB actually rejected my application that I did in mall. Nobody called me and straight rejected. Oh well, probably due to my earlier PTPTN record.

I didn't know and applied again over the weekend, they called and informed that I was rejected earlier so cannot apply again now. I have to wait till 3 months later.

OK lo, luckily I have no urgency to get the Cash Back Gold card.

Nah, it's OK. So far my AEON cards + PosOnline combo still serve me well. Just thought that the Uber promo comes handy on top of the SCB Gold cash back.

Yeh, I had the same thinking. Best feature is Uber Promo and my last resort to pay aeon via Pos online if I max out the rest.

Nevermind, maybe by the time it's time to apply for SCB again you'll qualify for PBB VS, and can apply for supplementary cards too . Hope that day comes soon. It's my most versatile card.

Yeah, wishful thinking.
I was also thinking of the SCB WorldMiles. Seems good for travelling and 90k p.a., I'm 8+ now and if I add in lap lap zap zap, will reach 9+ in EA form. Not bad right? I believe it also has Uber promo but oh well gotta bid farewell to SCB for this year.

Now that I'm older I qualify for most cards except those invitation only. Will be a long time before I ever get there! But no point also because doesn't seem like those ultra prestige cards have real benefits.. And annual fees are high. If I ever get that rich, maybe I won't be so obsessed counting my cash back.

Anyway, SCB lost a good potential customer!
